The “Priedes krogs” saloonThe saloon is the Latvian Open-Air Ethnographic Museum. It is an historical saloon that was transported to the museum from Vecumnieki, preserving the smokestack, bread oven, etc. Dining can be accompanied with demonstration of crafts and performances by local musical groups. Latvian weddings are organised here, as well. Latvian cuisine: Sprat sandwiches, lampreys, stuffed pike, a dish of three types of onions, bull testicles in a creamy sauce, grilled piglet, homemade country bread, soup cooked on a campfire, pancakes. Special foods: Priede saloon roast in loganberry marinade. |

The “Zvejnieki” holiday houseThe house is on the eastern shore of Lake Lubāns with a wonderful view of Latvia’s largest lake. The owners prepare dishes from local freshwater fish, using old recipes and ones that they have developed themselves. "Zvejnieki" is the participant of Latgalian culinary heritage. Latvian cuisine: Porridge with homemade jam, fish soup, bream or pike cakes, smoked carp, sautéed wild duck, sautéed elk, wild berries with milk. Special foods: Oven-baked pike-perch with potatoes or vegetables. |

“Stender’s” barThe "Stender's" bar is situated in the centre of the city of Kuldiga at the start of Liepājas Street, which is the main pedestrian and biking thoroughfare in Kuldīga. The two-story wood building was once a granary and is of architectural importance. The bar is situated on the second floor of the building, with the lowest door jambs in Kuldiga and wooden shears in the bar. Latvian cuisine: Farmer’s breakfast, oatmeal, cold kefir soup, sorrel, cucumber and bean soup, beef in onion sauce, hunter’s sausages, potato pancakes, sweet pancakes with lingonberry sauce. |

The “Rositten” caféThe café is alongside the Rēzekne castle hill and the “Zeimuļs” creative services centre of Eastern Latvia (built in September 2012). A lovely interior design and a look at historical objects form Rēzekne are part of the café. It is named after the Rositten fortress that was built here by the master of the Livonian Order in the 13th century. Meals are offered throughout the day, and various foods and baked goods are for sale. |

Ungurmuiza restaurantThe restaurant is in the “old school” of Ungurmuiža. Together with the nobleman’s estate and park, this makes up a unique cultural and historical monument. Igate castle Mill cafeThe saloon is at the edge of the Murjāņi-Limbaži road (P9) and alongside the Igate Castle. It is built on the foundations of a former windmill, and the wheel of the mill has been preserved. The old watermill is still hard at work and is used to mill grain for traditional porridge and buns. The saloon works with local farmers. Latvian cuisine: Mushroom soup, barley porridge with meat, barley buns, grit sausage with lingonberry sauce, crepes with jam, potato pancakes, fried plaice or pike, stacked rye bread. Special foods: Sautéed rabbit, stuffed filet of turkey. |

The “Rozalija” restaurantThe restaurant is situated on the premises of the hotel Kolonna Hotel Rezekne, which is situated in the very centre of Rezekne city, on the bank of the Rezekne River. The restaurant has an attractive interior design. A summer terrace offers a view of the promenade along the Rēzekne River. Guests are offered ancient Lettigalian dishes made from local ingredients. |

The “Aitinlauvas” saloonThe saloon is on the edge of the Rīga-Liepāja highway (A9) at the 22 km road marker. Most of the dishes are based on ingredients from the forest. The “Aveni” saloonThe saloon is opposite the Machinery Museum on the edge of Bauska. The nationally historical interior allows visitors to comfortably feel different than others.
