The IKS Park organisation offers rural joy, playing around and relaxing at the edge of a forest.  Visitors can engage in crafts, learn about medicinal plants from Latvia in an interactive way and also learn about the properties of same.  There are two different territories.  One is an open-air exhibition of medicinal plants, with six beds of various plants.  Visitors are invited to stroll through the garden and learn about plants that might be useful and appropriate for them.  There is also room for mini-football, a barefoot trail, an “ant trail” that is a relay race with various steps, a pergola and a class to teach about nature.  Second, there is a small farm with workshops and a mini zoo.  Under a large canopy or in a cosy fireplace hall, visitors can try their hand at traditional and modern Latvian crafts.  There is also a chance to play various games, some of which are quite ancient, indeed.  Master craftsmen at the farm offer practical activities that allow visitors to produce their own souvenirs.  Class topics include weaving of blankets from plants, jewellery making, soap making, grinding of flour, etc.

Adults and children will be able to learn about farm animals, view a collection of ancient tools, enjoy a country sauna with birch and juniper switches, drink herbal tea with honey, and taste carrot buns. During the summer, accommodations are offered in the granary or on the second level of the sauna.

This farm is in the Vilce Parish in the Jelgava Administrative District.  It grows greenhouse vegetables and plants, produces various medicinal plant ointments and offers lectures about nutrition and a health lifestyle.  A country sauna is also available.

Z/s "Kaupēni" ir ieguvusi bioloģiskās saimniecības statusu. Kaupēnu saimnieks Valdis Apalups ir pievērsies kazu audzēšanai, gaļai - saimniecībā uz vietas notiek arī gaļas pārstrāde.
Jaunums - saimniecībā pavisam nesen uzmanība vērsta kailsēklu ķirbju audzēšanai, no kuriem tiek iegūtas sēklas un eļļa.
Tāpat objektā tiek uzņemti ekskursanti, kur saimnieka pavadībā apskatāmi dzīvnieki, var iepazīt saimniecību un baudīt maltīti no saimniecībā ražotās produkcijas, kā arī iespēja iegādāties uz vietas ražoto produkciju, cūkgaļas žāvējumus, kazas gaļas kupātus, ķirbju sēklas un eļļu. 

This is an unusual farm, one with no electricity (its owners use candle lanterns and petroleum lamps), with all work done by hand. Visitors can watch the milking of goats, the subsequent handling of milk, and the production of cheese. They can help to harness horses, try out sleds on wheels, and work with a scythe and a sickle. Livestock raised in the Latvian countryside can be viewed.

The farm engages in cattle breeding, fruit and vegetable growing, and production and processing of milk and meat. Contact the farm in advance to purchase homemade products, learn to make cheese, and bake your own bread on the basis of ancient recipes. This farm is part of the culinary heritage of Latgale.

The farm produces dairy products and strawberries. You can learn to bake rye bread, make cheese and ice cream, and look at sheep, goats, pigs, calves, cows, horses, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. If you like, you can help with the farm work and taste and purchase the products.

Energia (Energy) Farm beside the Navesti River is the largest Estonian company to ecologically grow and process herbs. There is a big herb centre with herbal trails, a modern teahouse, a seminar centre and an eco-spa; the farm’s accommodation features all modern conveniences.

Guest house "Ausmas" is located in Valka region, and can accommodate up to 30 people. Catering services are also available both on site and off-site. Guests have access to a wet sauna, as well as a sauna ritual with a skilled bather. The guest house organizes various events, as well as tours and groups of children. There is also an animal farm on the farm, where children can feed and love a variety of animals. The owners actively cooperate with the neighboring farms.

The owners of the guest house are home-grown producers who offer guests a variety of smoked meats, cheeses and homemade bread. Master classes are offered in both cheese tying and bread baking. It is possible to visit and organize tastings both with home-made products and with the offer of the surrounding farms.

Guests to the Dīķīši homestead in the Amata Parish will be greeted by several Samoyed dogs and intelligent little donkeys that will bring the guests to a place for glamping next to the pond.  You can hike down two trails of different lengths of enjoy the opportunities that exist when Latvians share places where they find mushrooms and berries.

A special adventure is creating artworks from natural materials that have been collected in the forest.  The accommodations are appropriate for people who use a wheelchair.  The lavatory has been adapted to the needs of such people, as well.

People who are interested in cultural history can tour a collection of Latvian folk costumes, trying them on and organising their own photo session.  People who enjoy extreme feelings will enjoy a ride on a quadricycle.  If you love to go fishing, bring your own inventory.  We organise fire rituals for birthdays and family celebrations, and we’ll also offer soup that has been cooked on a campfire, as well as a master class in cheesemaking.

Lauku sēta atrodas Džūkijas nacionālajā parkā. Saimniecībā iespējams pašiem ar saimnieces nelielu palīdzību pagatavot tradicionālos dzūku ēdienus veco laiku maizes krāsnī. Kulinārais mantojums un izglītības programmas. Piedāvā arī nakšņošanu.

Saimnieku aprūpē ir ap 500 trušu, kā arī kazas un mājputni. Viesojoties saimniecībā, viesi varēs samīļot un pabarot trusīšus, kā arī apskatīt kazlēnus, kam ļoti patīk cilvēku uzmanība. Dzīvnieciņus iespējams apskatīt, iepazīt un samīļot, kā arī pabarot. 

Saimniecības pamatnodarbošanās ir diļļu audzēšana un to pārstrāde. Siltumnīcā audzē arī Itālijas dienvidos zināmu melones un gurķa krustojumu "Carosello", kas latviski nodēvēts par "pūkaino gurķi". Iespējamas degustācijas, kā arī saimniecības produkcijas iegāde.

This farm is run by a young family which left the hurly-burly of Rīga to enjoy the peace of the countryside.  The couple wants to restore links with the earth, learn to hear and feel the seasons, and to establish a sustainable farm.  They love everything that is natural and even a bit untraditional.  They like to engage in experiments and dislike the stiffness of the city.  Bieles is 15 km from Madona, 2 km from Ļaudona, 30 km from Mount Gaiziņš, 159 km from Rīga and 100 m above sea level.  Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets are guaranteed.

Der Familienhof züchtet und baut wie in alten Zeiten alles, was man zum Leben und für die Gesundheit braucht, an oder fertigt es selbst: Getreide, Hanf, Gemüse, Obst, Vieh und mehr als 60 Heilpflanzen, aus denen dann originelle Produkte entstehen. Zusammen mit der Hausherrin kann man sich im Bestimmen der Pflanzen üben, Kräutertees verkosten und auf dem Gartenkamin Gewürzbrot backen. Im Gesundheitshaus kann man zusehen, wie Öl gepresst, Blumenwasser destilliert wird und wie nach alten Rezepturen natürliche Kremes und Salben gefertigt werden. Die Produkte kann man auch kaufen. 1991 begannen die Hausherren mit der Durchführung von Kursen zum ökologischen und biodynamischen Landbau, wobei der eigene Hof als Muster fungierte. Seit 2000 werden hier Kräuterteemischungen und Gewürzmischungen unter der Marke „AnnaABergmans“ hergestellt. 2015 kam die Fertigung von Salben, Kremes und Destillaten hinzu.

A unique farmyard that includes a full set of buildings typical of this area. The farmstead buildings reflect at least 300-400 years of Latvian nation-building development.

In the area it is possible to stay in a dwelling house (2 rooms, two people each) and in the tents. Picnic places available. It is also possible to organize different events and activities.

The property is located in the traditional fisherman's village, and local dishes and crafts are respected here. Guests are offered home-made products, as well as master classes for cooking and crafts, and are introduced to rural life.

Organic farm "Mežvijas" is engaged in vegetable growing, fruit growing and beekeeping and their processing - dried vegetables, berries, fruits, spice mixtures, candies, juices, syrups.

The “Gulbji” Selonian homestead is one of the very few places in Latvia where you can see a farm typical of the historical region of Selonia with its typical buildings. “Gulbji” is comparatively far from major roads and populated areas. It is on the so-called Dronku Island, not far from the beginning of the ancient Dviete River valley. The owners of “Gulbji” have collected a wealth of ancient household objects. Visitors can study the farm, examine a collection of medicinal plants, enjoy Selonian foods, or take a “black sauna.” It could be said that people at “Gulbji” have a natural farm which nurtures and maintains the traditions of the historical region.

Latvian cuisine: Crepes, grit soup, cream of potato soup, beans sautéed in a special sauce, fruit dessert, bread soup with whipped cream, tortes, herbal teas.

Special foods: Zeppelins.

The landlady of this farm will tell you about healthy herbal teas and home-based goodies.  If you wish to spend the night under the stars, we offer a place for tents and a campfire on the banks of local river by the old Lūkas windmill.  “Aploki” will welcome anyone who wants to relax in a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
