How the Cheese Is Made
The cheese is made from freshly milked goat’s milk, which is heated during the cheesemaking process. The goats graze on diverse pastures, and hay rich in a wide variety of plant species is harvested for them. This gives the dairy products a more distinctive and intense flavour profile, as well as higher levels of essential fatty acids and antioxidants.

For Visitors

Where to Buy
The cheeses are available directly from the farm, at the Valmiera REKO farmers’ market and the Slow Food Straupe market, as well as at town festival markets in Valmiera, Rūjiena and Mazsalaca.
