	Herbsts Cidery	Herbsts is a family-owned cidery producing natural, locally crafted cider in the western region of Latvia, Kurzeme. Our Story This is a story of old orchards, wild apple trees, and a passionate pursuit of creating ciders with a unique Baltic flavour. Apples Cider is made from apples hand-picked in a 60-year-old orchard. The search for distinctive cider flavours also lead the cider makers to the wild, where forest apples with unique tastes are found. During the winter months, a slow fermentation process transforms the apple juice into a flavourful and refreshing drink. Ciders Each cider tells a story of how its distinctive, unique flavour was discovered. The experiments and dedication were rewarded at the Nordic Cider Competition (NICA) in 2023, where "Dullais Dauka" won a gold medal and "Plūsis" took silver – the first international recognition for Herbsts ciders. For Visitors Each autumn, cider harvest gatherings are organised, offering everyone a chance to enjoy active time in the orchard, taste previous years' ciders, and enjoy a meal cooked over an open fire. 	Brauerei VALMIERMUIZAS ALUS	Die alten Traditionen der Valmiermuižas Gastfreundschaft fortführend, laden die neuen Besitzer der Brauerei ein das Landgut mit Umgebung und Brauerei kennenzulernen! Hier wird den Besuchern erklärt und gezeigt, wie die reiche Geschichte von Valmiermuiža die Bierbrauerei beeinflusst hat, und wie man von natürlichen Rohstoffen langsam „lebendiges” Bier braut. Alle können erfahren wie man am besten Bier genießt um dessen richtigen Geschmack zu spüren, und was man am besten dazu isst. Eine Besichtigung ist jeden Tag möglich, mit vorheriger Anmeldung. Der Besuch und das Kosten dauert ungefähr 1,5 h. Das Wirtshaus "Valmiermuižas alus virtuve" popularisiert die Bierkultur in Lettland. Für die Vorbereitung von Mahlzeiten wird hier Bier als ein passender Bestandteil von Mahlzeiten verwendet. In einer für heutzutage charakteristischen lettischen Art werden von den lokalen Produkten Speisen und Bier-Vorspeisen vorbereitet. Im Sommer ist hier ein Biergarten geöffnet. Hier wird das Traditionelle mit dem Gegenwärtigen verbunden. Lettische Küche: Geräuchertes Schweinefleisch, Filet eines Zanders aus dem See Burtnieks, Püree aus grünen Erbsen. Als Beilagen: Preiselbeeren, Quitten, Kürbisse, Birkensäfte und Steinpilzsoße. Das besondere Gericht: Im unfiltrierten Bier des Winters gehaltene Schweinefleischscheibe.
	ZAKI	Am Teich in Jaunjelgava befinden sich eine Landsauna und ein Dampfbad, im 1. Stock ist ein Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Das Gästehaus verfügt über einen Whirlpool im Freien, einen Spielplatz für Kinder und einen Tennisplatz.
	Dvietes istais lauku saldejums	The true country ice cream at Dviete is provided by a family company which makes ice cream from locally sourced milk and barriers. There are no E-substances, no plant oils, and less sugar than is common. The cows which provide the milk are not kept in sheds. They graze in the biological pastures of the Dviete wetlands. They are known as “happy cows,” and the milk ensures a unique taste for the ice cream that is made of it. The café offers homemade ice cream and waffles, as well as delicious coffee in a lovely and well-appointed place from which you can see the lovely and extensive Dviete wetlands. Groups can contact the ice cream café to arrange for tastings or master classes on how ice cream is made.
	Café "Mikelis"	Das Café befindet sich im Erholungskomplex Miķelis (am Ufer des Flusses Musa), wo man einen typischen Bauernhof aus dem 19. - 20. Jh. und das Fahrzeugmuseum besichtigen kann. Lettische Küche: Kalte Suppe, Salat der Stadt Valmiera, gebratene Ostseeflunder, Kartoffelpfannkuchen, Erdbeersuppe mit Eis. Das besondere Gericht: Die besonderen Speisen von Bauska, Schnitzel Miķelis.
	Watermill of the Krape manor	The watermill of the Krape Estate is found on the Lobe River in the Ogre Administrative District. Owners offer tours of the mill so that you can learn how the old mill operates. You can stroll along the banks of the river or learn about plants in the meadow. There are places for tenting, but the main operation here is the production of elixirs from meadow plants, production of soy wax candles, production of etheric oils and hydrolats, a well as growing trout and African catfish that can be viewed during the season. A new thing is SPA services with floating, a halotherapy salt beach and an aromatherapy steam system. Floating is a unique way to boost your health. You’ll be dipped into a warm magnesium salt solution, which will allow your body to relax completely in physical, emotional and intellectual terms. The solution (MgSO4) is very concentrated, and it has a temperature of +37C, which is body temperature. That’s what makes the procedure so relaxing. Your body will not sink because of the concentration of salt, and you will float above it like bobber. You will relax all of your tendons and possibly compressed nerves. Your limbs will “oil up.” Your body will receive a very necessary dose of magnesium through your skin. You can also take part in baking KrapesKrepes crepes – home baked crepes made of milk from one neighbouring homestead and eggs from another neighbouring homestead. You can also prepare a meal on a Himalayan salt board
	Agave	Das Gästehaus Agave befindet sich in der Region Līgatne, 6 km von Augšlīgatne, 18 km von Sigulda und 56 km von Riga entfernt, an einem schönen, ruhigen und landschaftlich reizvollen Ort im Nationalpark Gauja. Den Gästen werden komfortable Cottages, eine schöne 100 m2 große Halle (30-40 Pers.) 	Hanfanbau ADZELVIESI	Auf dem Hof Adzelvieši wird Hanf angebaut, aus dessen Samen Hanfbutter und grob gemahlene Zukost hergestellt wird. An der Kornkammer (101 Jahre alt) sind alte Werkzeuge der Hanffaserbearbeitung ausgestellt. Hier kann man leckere Produkte verkosten und kaufen, sowie eine spannende Reise in die Geschichte der Hanfzüchtung unternehmen. Der gewöhnliche Hanf ist eine alte Kulturpflanze in Lettland, die hier seit mehr als 1000 Jahren angebaut wird. Lettische Küche: Grob und fein gemahlene Zukost aus Hanf, Hanfbrötchen, zerdrückte und geröstete Hanfbröckchen, Hanföl.
	Backen von Sklandrausis (Kuchen aus Roggenteig und Karotten) USI	Eines der ersten Häuser in Kolka, 1,2 km vom Kap Kolka entfernt, das der nördlichste Punkt in Kurland ist und die Ostsee von der Bucht von Riga trennt. Hier wird die Vorbereitung des traditionellen nordkurländischen süßen Gerichtes – Sklandrauši – gezeigt, sowie eine Führung für Fußgänger Spaziergang in die industrielle Geschichte von Kolka mit theatralischen Elementen und eine Verkostung der besten Sprotten aus Lettland angeboten. Lettische Küche: Graupengrütze mit gebratenen Zwiebeln und gebratenem Fleisch, Kefir, Kräutertees. Das besondere Gericht: Das traditionelle Gericht Sklandrausis.
	Restaurant des Landgutes von Marciena	Das Restaurant befindet sich 1,5 km vom Zentrum von Marciena entfernt. Hier werden sowohl die Speisen der alten Welt, als auch Speisen aus der lettischen und baltendeutschen Küche angeboten, die im modernen Stil vorbereitet und serviert werden. In der Küche werden auf den Feldern des Landgutes und von den lokalen Bauern gezüchtete Früchte und Gemüse, sowie Fleisch und Fische verwendet. Lettische Küche: Schweinebraten mit geschmortem Kraut, neue Kartoffeln mit Pfifferlingsoße, geschmorte Kaninchenschenkel mit Graupenrisotto.
	Heimarbeitermarkt MARKT DER LOKALEN PRODUKTE VON STRAUPE	Der Markt befindet sich in Straupe, Gemeinde Zirgi. Der Markt arbeitet unter dem Markennamen Earth Markets der renommierten internationalen Organisation Slow Food. Angeboten werden gute und reine Produkte, die in gutem Glauben angebaut werden, um die Nachhaltigkeit des Landes, das lokale Wissen und die Traditionen zu erhalten. Während der Öffnungszeiten des Marktes serviert die Küche von Straupe Zirgu pasts köstliche Speisen nach lettischen Traditionen, die aus lokalen Produkten zubereitet werden.
	Restaurant SKRUNDAS MUIZA	Das Restaurant befindet sich an der Straße Riga – Liepaja (A9). Hier werden in Lettland gezüchtete Produkte, sowie Produkte der lokalen Bauer verwendet. Lettische Küche: Blattsalat mit Kabeljauleber, kalte Rote-Beete-Suppe mit Schweinezunge, gebratenes Welsfilet, im Ofen gebackene Bachforelle aus Lettland, im Ofen gebackenes Schweinefilet, gegrilltes Hirschfleisch. Das besondere Gericht: Auslese der im Landgut hergestellten Eissorten.
	DARE Relax in the meadow	Relax among natural meadows at Antiņciems, which is part of the Ķemeri National Park. There is space for picnicking and tenting, with canopies for seminars and private events outdoor. A guide will accompany you for a stroll through a meadow where you can truly sense the presence of nature. Owner Sanita Matule teaches master classes related to products from the meadows – tastings and educational activities outdoors. Sanita will tell various stories about Antiņciems, the border between Kurzeme and Vidzeme, traditions in growing chicory, etc. There is a permanent spiral herbal bed for various herbs. The owner grows chicory and offers chicory coffee. Purchase or taste products from “Sanita’s Meadow Goodies.” Celebrate the “Chicory Festival,” the “Meet your Master” event, “Home Café Days,” seminars about medicinal plants, information about tending to biologically valuable meadows, stories about when the TV show “True Latvian Homemakers” was filmed here. You can also watch the backing of a “Miracle Bun” and then taste it.
	Bungalow Niedras	Bungalow Niedras is located in Jūrmala, 1.9 km from Jūrmala Beach. It offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children’s playground, free bicycles and free private parking. The property has a sauna. There is also a fridge, microwave and kettle, barbecue. You can go skiing and hiking in the area. The cosily furnished bungalow allows you to enjoy both the first and the last rays of the sun and the starry sky, as its roof is partially covered with a durable, transparent film. The room has everything you need to make your stay a pleasant one. The bungalow has a toilet and a shower a few steps from the cottage. There are two bungalows, one with a view of the garden with a double bed and the other with a view of the river with two single beds.

	Kolekcijas darzs "ROZITES"	The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares. There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties. There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden. Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation. You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music. On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water. Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them. You can purchase rose and perennial plants. Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike. Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals. We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions. The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom. 	Karklu Osta	“Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins. There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes. There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends. A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river. It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people. There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them. There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well. There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower. Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine. SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table.
