The “Celmiņi” weekend house is found in a quiet and forested location in the Kūkas Parish of the Krustpils Administrative District. Guests can enjoy active leisure or relaxation that are provided by the surrounding environment. The venue has three types of saunas – a wet sauna, a steam or Turkish sauna, and a traditional Latvian sauna. There is a vat of water outside the sauna, and there is also relaxation in a bee healing process (a seasonal offer). There is a house with four bedrooms (up to 15 people), as well as two small huts where two people can stay. During the summer, there are another four camping huts for two persons. The venue can host parties up to 35 people, while the sauna building will accommodate up to 12 individuals. Depending on the season, there can be archery, paintball, creative workshops, soup cooked on a campfire, as well as educational activities for children. |

The farm grows grains and raps, and organises informational seminars and tours for children and adults. There is a collection of antique tools and dairy processing equipment which can be put to use. An attraction park is available to one and all.

The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares. There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties. There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden. Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation. You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music. On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water. Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them. You can purchase rose and perennial plants. Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike. Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals. We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions. The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom. The café is on the Jelgava ring road between Lielupe and Vircava, offering meat and dairy products from Zemgale, as well as locally grown vegetables. The café has a partnership with the “Rudiņi” deer garden. The “Mīlmaņi” guesthouse is on the banks of the Gauja River in Ranka. The venue is cosy for family celebrations and events for up to 50 participants. The main building has five bedrooms. The pond covers 2.3 ha, and its average depth is 4m. Since 2013, it has been home to carps, tench, catfish, crucian, pike, roach, perch and other types of fish. There are also two kinds of crabs in the pond. The territory offers not just the joy of fishing, but also relaxation for the whole family. Room for tents and picnics, a special swimming area, lavatory facilities and various attractions. You can rent fishing poles, crabbing baskets and boats, and you can buy everything that you will need for a lovely picnic. |

Meals are served in the ancient dining room of the knights under the vaulted ceiling, with candlelight and medieval music. The Berghof Milk Estate with saunas. The weekend sauna at the estate offers a country sauna and the holiest type of traditional sauna – the black rock sauna. This is a ritual which takes several hours, with handmade switches, massages, scrubs, rinsing and herbal teas from Sieksāte. The true country ice cream at Dviete is provided by a family company which makes ice cream from locally sourced milk and barriers. There are no E-substances, no plant oils, and less sugar than is common. The cows which provide the milk are not kept in sheds. They graze in the biological pastures of the Dviete wetlands. They are known as “happy cows,” and the milk ensures a unique taste for the ice cream that is made of it. The café offers homemade ice cream and waffles, as well as delicious coffee in a lovely and well-appointed place from which you can see the lovely and extensive Dviete wetlands. Groups can contact the ice cream café to arrange for tastings or master classes on how ice cream is made. |

This is a breeding farm for wild animals. On 170 hectares, the family breeds European elks, fallow deer and white elks (some 400 head in all), as well as wild boar. Opened on June 21, 2011, at the 51st kilometre of the Tallinn-Riga highway, the MEKE KROGS pub is a typical example of the roadside pubs which used to be built along the sides of roads and near homesteads, castles, mills and windmills. This particular one is located into renovated cattle shed that is more than 100 years old – a lovely log building that is named after the former baron of the local estate, von Mecke. Alongside it is the handsome parish building which was erected in 1907 with red bricks from Tūja.
