Tourists can learn about the history of the estate and the brewing of beer, beginning with raw materials and ending with finished products. The visit is enriched by tastings of live beer and stories about Latvia’s traditional holiday beverage. Alongside the brewery is a store which sells live beer, homemade goodies and selected souvenirs.

The “Valmiermuižas alus virtuve” saloon popularises Latvian beers and uses beer in various dishes. A modern approach to homemade products is used to prepare foods and beer-based snacks. There is a beer garden during the summer, and the saloon merges traditional things with modern ones.

Latvian cuisine: Smoked pork, filet of pike from Lake Burtnieks, green pea mash, with loganberries, quince, pumpkin birch juice and mushroom sauce as accompaniments.

Special foods: Slice of pork marinated in unfiltered winter beer.

Restoring Renda's winemaking traditions, which were relevant during the time of Duke Jacob, when Renda's sour red wine was popular in Jelgava court, it is offered to taste wine and pumpkin seeds in Mārtiņš Wagner's Vineyard and winery in Renda, it is also possible to see the grape and pumpkin garden.

You can go mushroom hunting and learn about our mushrooms and places where they grow. The lady of the house will teach you secrets about cooking and preserving mushrooms. During the spring, you can help to gather morels.

The Berghof Milk Estate with saunas. The weekend sauna at the estate offers a country sauna and the holiest type of traditional sauna – the black rock sauna. This is a ritual which takes several hours, with handmade switches, massages, scrubs, rinsing and herbal teas from Sieksāte. The mansion of the estate has a wet sauna, a steam sauna, a basin with a stream and a fireplace. The Rožu Saloon off ers delicious dining, and the Milk Spa allows you to relax in milk baths. “Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins.  There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes.  There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends.

A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river.  It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people.  There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them.  There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well.  There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower.

Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine.  SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table.

“Baltais Gulbis” is a café that opened on May 6, 2023.  The café offers a meal after a lovely visit to Likteņdārzs (Destiny Garden).  The café is next to the meeting house in Koknese and the place where the “Gulbis” yacht stops.  Tasty coffee, refreshing drinks, snacks, hearty luncheons, ice cream and other goodies.

The true country ice cream at Dviete is provided by a family company which makes ice cream from locally sourced milk and barriers.  There are no E-substances, no plant oils, and less sugar than is common.

The cows which provide the milk are not kept in sheds.  They graze in the biological pastures of the Dviete wetlands.  They are known as “happy cows,” and the milk ensures a unique taste for the ice cream that is made of it.  The café offers homemade ice cream and waffles, as well as delicious coffee in a lovely and well-appointed place from which you can see the lovely and extensive Dviete wetlands.

Groups can contact the ice cream café to arrange for tastings or master classes on how ice cream is made.

The farm breeds dairy and meat goats. They make yogurt, cheeses from the goat milk. They also make ecological organic goat's milk soap. In the farm they also grow rhubarb and make syrups and juices from it. You can take a tour, view the animals, taste milk, yogurt, various cheeses, meats sausages, etc.) and purchase the products, as well.

The company “ARA Kalnozols, Ltd.” is located in the same territory with the guest house "Šubrakkrasti", located in Madona region, Bērzaune parish, 8 km from Lake Kāla, in a quiet place surrounded by nature. "Šubrakkrasti" is both a guest house and a non-standard farm, which offers excursions, during which you will be able to get acquainted with the history of the house (previously there was a dairy), owner Raimonds Aizstrauts - factory equipment production workshop, his motorsports (four-time USSR champion in motorsports) and work on CNC and laser engraving equipment. Walk through the manicured countryside, which includes a mountain with a serpentine road, landscaped gardens, ponds, etc. There is a 9-hole meadow golf course in the area. There are also creative workshops - a soap maker or gift box making.
