Happiness House (Laimes maja) is a recreation place situated in a very beautiful place on the seashore – on Cape Kolka. Here you will have a chance to relax, watch sunrises and sunsets, enjoy the sea, quiteness and peace.
Laimes maja is an ecological building of a cylinder shape, made of fur tree timber with a big oval mirrorlike window. Laimes maja has a characteristic oval shape which gives the house originality of a beautiful design. One end of the house is made of a big half-oval window from which one can see a beatufil landscape. The bed in the house is situated right near the window in order to give visitors unforgettable romantic experiences by feeling united with the landscape and nature outside.

The property is located in the traditional fisherman's village, and local dishes and crafts are respected here. Guests are offered home-made products, as well as master classes for cooking and crafts, and are introduced to rural life.

Visitors can learn about work from the 19th century, including pottery, which is the oldest craft in the world.  You can shear sheep, make beautiful and warm things with the wool, and forge lucky nails and horseshoes.  Educational programmes here will be of interest to fans of history and others who want to have a good time.

This tour has a very summery feel since it never wanders too far from the sea. Pavilosta is Latvia's unofficial windsurfing capital, while Palanga in Lithuania has an excellent amber museum. Lithuania's pearl is the Curonian Spit and its lagoon which attracts with its vast sand dunes and Nida, a charming village with a Thomas Mann Museum. Back in Latvia, Liepaja is an exciting city with a historic quarter, beach, lively restaurants and clubs and a distinctive millitary heritage in the form of former naval forts and a military zone. Kuldiga is loved by artists due to its picturesque little cobbled streets with wooden houses and the Europe's widdest waterfall on the Venta river.

Enjoy nature with all of your senses in the Survilai village tourism farm, which is a Swiss village in the Jonavos district.  Walk down paths barefoot!  The paths are covered with pine cones, puddles, peat, clay, granite, smooth glass, pine needles, hay, an obstacle course, etc.  The path is more than a kilometre long, and you will feel unbelievable and positive emotions, as well as an inflow of energy.

The restaurant is in Bocmaņa Square in the centre of Salacgrīva and on the banks of the Salaca River. The well-known “Pie Bocmaņa” saloon has been redesigned and features the topic of Baron Munchhausen.

Latvian cuisine: Herring salad, herring with cottage cheese, fish soup, breast of pork with onions, grey peas with bacon, fried livers, baked plaice, baked filet of pike-perch, stacked rye bread.

The farm produces six different kinds of blackberries. You can tour the surrounding fields, learn about how blackberries are grown, and taste and purchase valuable berries. Your children will love the rabbits and goats that are at the farm.
