“We educate, create feelings and inspire people.”  Those are the key concepts of the “Mūsu avenes” raspberry farm.

The farm specialises in summer and autumn raspberries, but it also grows quince, honeysuckle, mulberry, rhubarb and various seasonal vegetables.

Owners of the farm began to offer informative and interactive tours in 2023.  Learn how the farm is run, what it bases its work on, and how it ensures bio-economics and a circulation economy.  You’ll also learn details about how to grow and pick raspberries.  A special mood is created by a cupola tent at the farm which offers visitors a chance to enjoy and unrivalled surrounding landscape.

You can rent the cupola for a special and unusual site for celebrations or a photo session.  The cupola on the raspberry farm will be an excellent choice.
 

Māris und Dace Plūme beschäftigen sich seit 2010 mit der Cidre-Herstellung in Jumprava, nachdem sie Erfahrungen in den besten Cidre-Mostereien in Frankreich und Österreich gesammelt hatten. Die Getränke der Cidre-Mosterei „Mr.Plūme“ sind beim internationalen Cidre-Wettbewerb SISGA in Spanien mehrmals mit Goldmedaillen ausgezeichnet worden.

The Saulgriezes guesthouse is near Bernāte with 10 flats of different types and sizes.  There is a pine forest near the guesthouse, and the beach is 500 m away.  Guests have access to a playground for children, as well as a place for campfires.  The flats are appropriate for families with children, business trips, or leisure alone, as a couple or with a group of friends.

All of the flats have sleeping areas with bed linens, a leisure zone, a dining area and a kitchen where light meals can be prepared.  The kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove, an electric tea kettle, an oven surface, dishes and utensils.  Guests also have access to a bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, slippers, towels, lavatory items and hygienic items.  There are televisions in the flats, along with free WIFI and a private parking spot for cars.  The territory also has a sauna with a leisure area, as well as a banquet room for approximately 60 guests.

The company “ARA Kalnozols, Ltd.” is located in the same territory with the guest house "Šubrakkrasti", located in Madona region, Bērzaune parish, 8 km from Lake Kāla, in a quiet place surrounded by nature. "Šubrakkrasti" is both a guest house and a non-standard farm, which offers excursions, during which you will be able to get acquainted with the history of the house (previously there was a dairy), owner Raimonds Aizstrauts - factory equipment production workshop, his motorsports (four-time USSR champion in motorsports) and work on CNC and laser engraving equipment. Walk through the manicured countryside, which includes a mountain with a serpentine road, landscaped gardens, ponds, etc. There is a 9-hole meadow golf course in the area. There are also creative workshops - a soap maker or gift box making.

The watermill of the Krape Estate is found on the Lobe River in the Ogre Administrative District.  Owners offer tours of the mill so that you can learn how the old mill operates.  You can stroll along the banks of the river or learn about plants in the meadow.  There are places for tenting, but the main operation here is the production of elixirs from meadow plants, production of soy wax candles, production of etheric oils and hydrolats, a well as growing trout and African catfish that can be viewed during the season.  A new thing is SPA services with floating, a halotherapy salt beach and an aromatherapy steam system.

Floating is a unique way to boost your health.  You’ll be dipped into a warm magnesium salt solution, which will allow your body to relax completely in physical, emotional and intellectual terms.  The solution (MgSO4) is very concentrated, and it has a temperature of +37C, which is body temperature.  That’s what makes the procedure so relaxing.  Your body will not sink because of the concentration of salt, and you will float above it like bobber.  You will relax all of your tendons and possibly compressed nerves.  Your limbs will “oil up.”  Your body will receive a very necessary dose of magnesium through your skin.

You can also take part in baking KrapesKrepes crepes – home baked crepes made of milk from one neighbouring homestead and eggs from another neighbouring homestead.  You can also prepare a meal on a Himalayan salt board
 

Brantu manor is located in Smiltene county, Brantu parish. The manor was built in the 19th century, currently it is managed by Ilze Briede, who is a well-known bread baker in Latvia, and Nauris Zutis - the owner of "Pirts skola" ("Sauna school").
The manor offers workshops with hostesses, excursions, Latvian traditional meals and "Pirts skola" workshop, which includes visit to the sauna, herbal ABC, herbal scrub, tea workshops and "Pirtsslota" ("Bath broom") workshop.
Brantu manor also offers various camps for the whole family, to learn about the Latvian way of life and perception of the world.

A garden of feelings, where peonies smell, birds sing and the heart rejoices! About 730 peonies of different varieties grow in the garden of "Romju pojenes", which will delight every visitor with their variety of scents, colors and shapes.

It is located in Tukuma county, Irlava parish, ~1 km from the Viesata river loop nature trail.

The garden is available during peonies blooming (June).

An der Westküste des Rigaer Meeresbusens, im Dorf Kaltene, produziert SIA "Rožkalns" Hausweine und -cidres, Fischprodukte und andere Delikatessen aus Beeren und Blumen, die im Garten und im Wald gesammelt werden.

Auf dem Hof werden Getreide und Kartoffeln angebaut, sowie die eigene Produktion, Bildungsseminare und Führungen für Schüler, Erwachsene und Gruppen angeboten. Hier kann man eine Sammlung von alten Werkzeugen und Milchverarbeitungsanlagen besichtigen, sowie diese praktisch anwenden. Den Gästen stehen ein großer Park mit Attraktionen und ein breites Angebot an Beschäftigungen zur Verfügung.
