The true country ice cream at Dviete is provided by a family company which makes ice cream from locally sourced milk and barriers. There are no E-substances, no plant oils, and less sugar than is common. The cows which provide the milk are not kept in sheds. They graze in the biological pastures of the Dviete wetlands. They are known as “happy cows,” and the milk ensures a unique taste for the ice cream that is made of it. The café offers homemade ice cream and waffles, as well as delicious coffee in a lovely and well-appointed place from which you can see the lovely and extensive Dviete wetlands. Groups can contact the ice cream café to arrange for tastings or master classes on how ice cream is made. |

In 2015 owners of ''Zeltlejas'' started to develop the first sea buckthorn plantations, but in 2018 the area where the sea buckthorn is grown for berry extraction was 24 hectares. Only one breed of sea buckthorn trees with high oil and carotenoid content is grown in the garden. But strawberries are grown in the greenhouses, that's why they are ripen already in the spring. Various events on different topics like healthy eating, cooking, gardening are also organized. |

Relax among natural meadows at Antiņciems, which is part of the Ķemeri National Park. There is space for picnicking and tenting, with canopies for seminars and private events outdoor. A guide will accompany you for a stroll through a meadow where you can truly sense the presence of nature. Owner Sanita Matule teaches master classes related to products from the meadows – tastings and educational activities outdoors. Sanita will tell various stories about Antiņciems, the border between Kurzeme and Vidzeme, traditions in growing chicory, etc. There is a permanent spiral herbal bed for various herbs. The owner grows chicory and offers chicory coffee. Purchase or taste products from “Sanita’s Meadow Goodies.” Celebrate the “Chicory Festival,” the “Meet your Master” event, “Home Café Days,” seminars about medicinal plants, information about tending to biologically valuable meadows, stories about when the TV show “True Latvian Homemakers” was filmed here. “Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins. There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes. There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends. A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river. It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people. There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them. There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well. There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower. Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine. SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table. |

The pond covers 2.3 ha, and its average depth is 4m. Since 2013, it has been home to carps, tench, catfish, crucian, pike, roach, perch and other types of fish. There are also two kinds of crabs in the pond. The territory offers not just the joy of fishing, but also relaxation for the whole family. Room for tents and picnics, a special swimming area, lavatory facilities and various attractions. You can rent fishing poles, crabbing baskets and boats, and you can buy everything that you will need for a lovely picnic. |

Усадьба Бланкенфельде расположена в Земгале - в часе езды от Риги. Усадьба имеет статус национального культурного памятника. Название усадьбы впервые было упомянуто во времена Курляндии и Семигалии - когда в период с 1689 - 1701 г.г. владельцем являлся Эрнест Фон Медемс. В 1891 году владельцами становится род Ханов. В усадьбе насчитывалось 16 зданий. Хозяйский дом – построенное в 18-ом веке одноэтажное здание с двускатной крышей. В 19-ом веке его перестраивают в стиле классицизма. В 1925 году в здании обустраивают приют для психически больных людей, а после Второй мировой войны - дом инвалидов. В настоящее время усадьба восстановлена и находится в частной собственности. Рядом с усадьбой находится родовое захоронение семьи Ханов, которое восстановлено и очищено. Восстановлен красивый приусадебный парк Бланкенфельде, в котором оборудована современная детская площадка, а в реконструированных конюшнях - на первом этаже основан музей колоколов, а на втором - современные гостиничные номера, где можно остаться, наслаждаясь атмосферой усадьбы, спокойным отдыхом, и на следующее утро - вкусным завтраком. Доступны помещения также в восточном крыле особняка, где можно отдохнуть в отдельных номерах - апартаментах. Усадьба предлагает помещения для проведения мероприятий и торжеств до 60 человек. В парке усадьбы расположены места для палаток и пикника. Можно осмотреть коллекцию колоколов. |

The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares. There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties. There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden. Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation. You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music. On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water. Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them. You can purchase rose and perennial plants. Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike. Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals. We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions. The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom. В парке есть места для активного отдыха - мини-футбольное поле, босаногая тропинка, детская полоса препятствий, беседка и природный класс. 2. Сельский дворик с мастерскими и мини-зоопарком. Под большим навесом или в избушке у камина Вы можете попробовать свои силы в традиционных и современных ремеслах. Наслаждаясь ароматом сосен, елей, лиственниц и луговых трав, можно поиграть в различные игры и получить удовольствие от общения с милыми животными.
