This trip will allow you to visit a farm in Kurzeme and to experience the diversity of its output.  Tasty and interesting!  From Rīga, the road will lead you along the Gulf of Riga and through fishing villages which are full of the aroma of smoked fish.  On the way to Talsi, you will visit an orchard and farm that produces apple chips.  Talsi is known not just as the town on nine hills, but also as the home of the tasty "Talsi Wheel" brand of cheese.  Also here is the Latvian Agriculture Museum with an exhibition about farming from the late 19th century to the present day. The symbol of Kuldīga is a red brick bridge across the Venta River, as well as the charming Old Town.  Next you will visit the seashore to learn about fishing, fish smoking and bread baking traditions.  Visit the unique steep shores of Jūrkalne.  On the way back you will visit a winemaking facility and a farm where shiitake mushrooms are grown.  You will also learn about the path of milk from a cow to finished dairy products and visit a farm at which people will tell you about the story of their family which dates back to the age of noblemen and baronial estate.

In Põlvamaa, on the side of the historic post road, a farmer’s kitchen and leisure home Kopli is located, surrounded by joy and delicious flavours. Farmer's kitchen Kopli offers a comfortable way to spend time and private restaurant services. The café operates during summer. Enjoy gelato type ice-cream here all year round.

A family-owned company that makes culinary and confectionery products in Jaunannas Parish, Alūksne Municipality. Delicious meat roulettes and rolls, prepared using Grandmother's recipes, and other meat products in a wide assortment, as well as special "Gustiņa" confectionery products can be purchased in Alūksne - taste store "Gustiņš". In the café “Gustiņš” you can enjoy a delicious and rich homemade meal, and taste the special dishes characteristic to the locals of Alūksne – malēnieši (booking in advance).

 The Lašu castle hill is 0.2 km from the Vecumnieki-Ilūkste road at Laši. It is an ancient Selonian castle hill, and it was populated between the 1^st millennium BC and the 10^th or 12^th century. Very little remains of the old Veclaši (Tiesenhausen) Estate, which had an impressive mansion designed in the Neo-Gothic style in the late 19^th century. What remains are an ancillary building, the foundations of the mansion, fragments of the gates, and a park. Until 1920, the estate belonged to the Pshezdzetski dynasty, and before that it was owned by the Tiesenhausen and Fittinghoff dynasties. Before visiting the location, look for photographs of the old mansion on the Internet. Sadly, the important cultural monument has not experienced any major improvements over the past 20 years.

Litorīnas jūras laikā (pirms ~ 6000 gadiem) Saleveres Salumegi kalns bija sala, bet mūsdienās tas kā izteikta kāple (īpaši - ziemeļu pusē) paceļas virs Piejūras līdzenuma. Salumegi ziemeļu pusē slejas 4 - 5 metrus augsts kaļķakmens atsegums – silūra perioda (> 400 mlj. gadu) koraļļu rifa paliekas, kuru noskalojuši Litorīnas jūras viļņi. Atseguma piekājē izplūst Acu avots, kam piedēvē dziednieciskas īpašības. Salumegi apskates nolūkos izveidota lokveida taka (1,5 km). No kalna augšas paveras labs skats uz Matsalu līci. Šeit atradies arī sens pilskalns.
