"Veckūri" is a milk processor that produces non-traditional dairy products from the milk obtained on its farm. This is the one street in Ķemeri where the towns' wooden buildings have been preserved to the greatest degree. Turning onto Durbes Street from Karogu Street, you will find the Miervaldis Ķemers Museum, which is focused on the well known Latvian cultural activist, pastor and painter (1902-1980). The museum is at Durbes Street 21. |

The Slocene River flows through Lake Valgums and Lake Mazezers before flowing into the western part of Lake Kaņieris. It is part of a branched and swampy delta in which there are seasonal restrictions aimed at protecting birds. The wetlands which are alongside the river are difficult to access in many places. Before the Starpiņupīte was dug between Lake Kaņieris and the Bay of Rīga (the water level is regulated with sluices), the water from the river flowed along what is now the Vecslocene River all the way to Sloka, where it ended at the Lielupe River. The Vecslocene can be used by canoe boats only when the water level is high and then from the Old Ķemeri road to the place where the river enters the Lielupe. Between Milzkalne and Lake Valgums, the river is not navigable because of many fallen trees. During the springtime, the estuary of the Starpiņupīte is a good place for bird watching. |

No 2016.gada maija Dabas takās ietilpst arī „Krēslas stundas taka”, kas īpaši patiks zinātkāriem mazajiem ceļotājiem. Taka stāsta par Rūķu dzīvi mežā un tās veidošanas pamatā ir stāsti no „Lielās Rūķu enciklopēdijas”. |

One of the rare places (see also Rucavas ivju audze) in Latvia where two rare and protected wild tree species grow - yew-tree and Baltic ivy. Territory is not marked on site with information signs or stands. Territory is not suitable for visitors as visitor without environmental knowledge will see “regular” forest. On the East side of the restricted area is located extending low wall – former narrow gauge railway (600 mm, length 41 km) line Dulbeni – Rucava. Railway was built by German military forces with the goal – to export wood.

This farm is engaged in dairy farming and rearing chickens; the obtained eggs and milk is processed in its very own dairy plant. You can taste various dairy products, including ice-cream in the farm, and also get to know the entire production process. You can also order meals for a picnic and apply for a dairy product masterclass. |

This is one of Estonia’s most beautiful karst fields, covering 125 hectares which feature different karst processes – subterranean streams, the dry Jõelähtme River bed, karst streams, funnels, ditches, caves, cliffs, a unique rock “mushroom,” etc. During the spring, the field is flooded, but at other times of the year, its contents are easily visible.

The domestic producer cooperative, which unites 29 producers and craftsmen of the Kuldīga region. The cooperative has its own shop in Pilsetas laukums 7A, Kuldiga, where it is possible to purchase all the products and goods produced by members of the cooperative. The store also offers seasonal delicacies and regular promotions, offering customers a wide and varied range of home-grown and home-made products. |
