	PILSKROGS	Ēdole Castle is a unique historical building, as it is the only castle of the Bishopric of Courland that is still inhabited. The “Pilskrogs” café of Ēdole Castle offers a variety of original dishes, giving preference to ingredients purchased from local farmers and producers, as well as mushroom and berry pickers during the season.
	Kugitis "Gulbis"	The boat "Gulbis" goes on trips along the Daugava, revealing the history of Koknese and Likteņdārzs, the stories of the Daugava, and will become a witness to today's story. It invites you to go along, enjoy, explore, remember, dream and relax, rinsing the waves of the Daugava, in complete peace, enjoying the sounds of nature and the stories of an audio guide. The boat can accommodate up to 20 guests on board. Route: Likteņdārzs - Koknese Lutheran Church - Koknese Castle Ruins - Perse River - Likteņdārzs Amphitheater - Likteņdārzs. The boat can also be booked for events such as birthdays, weddings, etc. Flight times can be viewed and tickets can be purchased on the website, as well as on board.
	Brewery VALMIERMUIZAS ALUS	Tourists can learn about the history of the estate and the brewing of beer, beginning with raw materials and ending with finished products. The visit is enriched by tastings of live beer and stories about Latvia’s traditional holiday beverage. Alongside the brewery is a store which sells live beer, homemade goodies and selected souvenirs. The “Valmiermuižas alus virtuve” saloon popularises Latvian beers and uses beer in various dishes. A modern approach to homemade products is used to prepare foods and beer-based snacks. There is a beer garden during the summer, and the saloon merges traditional things with modern ones. Latvian cuisine: Smoked pork, filet of pike from Lake Burtnieks, green pea mash, with loganberries, quince, pumpkin birch juice and mushroom sauce as accompaniments. Special foods: Slice of pork marinated in unfiltered winter beer.
	Ludza Craftsmen Centre	Here you can examine and purchase crafts by more than 40 Lettigalian craftspeople. A guide dressed in an Ancient Lettigalian folk costume will tell you about the lives of ancient Baltic tribes, the emergence of craftsmanship in the region, ancient laws related to ethics and work, and traditions. There are demonstrations of the crafts and lessons about the ancient skills. Groups can enjoy a luncheon of Lettigalian dishes, and learn how to bake bread and prepare beverages in an old-fashioned Lettigalian kitchen. The local craftsmen's salon and home producer's store Cymuss and Latgaļu kukņa, a member of the Latgale culinary heritage network. For groups, Latgaļu kukņa offers lunches and a special skills school for learning to prepare Latgalian food, bread and drinks. Latvian cuisine: Grey peas, dumplings in cream sauce, Lettigalian pastries and moonshine alcohol. Special foods: Lamb testicles and cabbage soup with mutton.
	By Daugava river	The “Pie Daugavas” glamping site is on land which has been passed down from generation to generation on the banks of the Daugava River and on the boundary between Jaunjelgava and Sērene. There are eight furnished glamping tents to rest in comfort on the banks of the river. The tents are 5m wide and 3m high, with carpeting to soothe your feet, a comfortable mattress that will ensure comfort for your back, as well as an easy chair into which you can sink with a book in hand. Electricity and WIFI will keep you linked to the outer world. You can reserve a Latvian-made jacuzzi with a wood-fired internal stove and installed hydro-massage and LED lighting. A spherical cupola tent with 65 m2 is also available. A new aspect at the tent in the summer of 2023 was a series of concerts on the banks of the Daugava.
	Subrakkrasti	Guest house "Šubrakkrasti" is located in Madona region, Bērzaune parish, 8 km from Lake Kāla, in a quiet place surrounded by nature. Guests have access to 7 rooms of different sizes and comfort, a sauna, a lounge, a ballroom and a wide range of leisure facilities. There is a shared lounge with a fireplace and a TV. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen for preparing meals. In summer, tent, caravan and camper sites are also available. An array of activities are offered in the area, such as cycling, fishing, meadow golf, hiking, campfire soup and more. "Šubrakkrasti" is also a non-standard farm, which offers excursions - both for guest house guests and groups of tourists and students. During the tour you will get acquainted with the history of the house (previously there was a dairy), the owner of the house Raimonds Aizstrauts - factory equipment production workshop, his motorsports (four-time USSR champion in motorsports) and works on CNC and laser engraving equipment. Walk through the well-groomed countryside, which includes a mountain with a serpentine road, landscaped gardens, ponds, etc. There are also creative workshops - a soap maker or gift box making.
	Cafe Liepas	The cafe- guest house Liepas is situated in Akniste. Guests are offered to try a tasty meal prepared from the owners’ and nearby farmsteads’ biologically grown vegetables, lamb and dairy products. Guests are offered to see, and feed the animals living in the biological farmstead of Liepas as well as get advices on sheep breeding, dairy production and agriculture.
	Plant grower "Vilki"	The farm "Vilki" is a small green oasis among the extensive cereal fields of Zemgale. Here you can go on a pedestrian walk through the arboretum and farmland, discovering about 1000 different plants - both typical of the landscape of Latvia and quite unique. Owners are growing differend kind of plants and herbs. Offers consultations in planting. There are also Latvian blue cows on the farm. Visitors have a picnic area available.
	Baking carrot buns "Usi"	The farm is located in the north-west of Latvia, which was historically inhabited by Livonians and, nowadays, is often called the Livonian coast. Farm is one of the first homes in Kolka, 1.2 km from Kolkasrags, the furthest northern point of Courland separating the Baltic Sea from the Gulf of Riga. The owner of the farm demonstrates the way in which the traditional Northern Kurzeme dessert that is a carrot bun and is known as a "sklandrausis" is prepared. Sklandrausis is registered in the EU food quality scheme as a product with traditional speciality guaranteed. Hikers can take a tour to see the industrial history of Kolka, complete with theatrical elements and tasting of Latvia’s best sprats. Latvian cuisine: Porridge with fried onions and meat, kefir, herbal teas. Special foods: Carrot buns.
	Pincikajas	“Pincikājas” offers a sauna and a place for leisure in a lovely place on the banks of Lake Sudals. A certified masseur and sauna master is on hand to organise sauna-related rituals. You will relax in the jacuzzi that is outside the sauna, or go swimming in the lake. Enjoy a period of leisure or take part in sports, camping or parties for your team at work. There are accommodations for up to 11 people on the mansard floor of the main building. Boats and SUP boards are available to rent. There is space for tenting and room for parties with up to 30 participants. There is a place for swimming, as well as a playground for children.
	The Dzirnavu saloon of the Birini Castle	The saloon is in the park of the Bīriņi Castle alongside a lake. It offers a lovely view from the summer terrace. The saloon is in the old windmill building, with antique objects preserved in the interior. Latvian cuisine: Grey peas with bacon, herring with potatoes, sautéed chicken and potatoes, chanterelle sauce, sautéed cabbage with hunter’s sausages, apple tart.
	Celmini	The “Celmiņi” weekend house is found in a quiet and forested location in the Kūkas Parish of the Krustpils Administrative District. Guests can enjoy active leisure or relaxation that are provided by the surrounding environment. The venue has three types of saunas – a wet sauna, a steam or Turkish sauna, and a traditional Latvian sauna. There is a vat of water outside the sauna, and there is also relaxation in a bee healing process (a seasonal offer). There is a house with four bedrooms (up to 15 people), as well as two small huts where two people can stay. During the summer, there are another four camping huts for two persons. The venue can host parties up to 35 people, while the sauna building will accommodate up to 12 individuals. Depending on the season, there can be archery, paintball, creative workshops, soup cooked on a campfire, as well as educational activities for children.
	The “Mikelis” café	The café is at the “Miķelis” leisure venue on the banks of the Mūsa River. Visitors can tour a typical farm from the 19th and 20th century, as well as the Machinery Museum. Latvian cuisine: Cold soup, Valmiera salad, roast Baltic plaice, potato pancakes, stawberry soup with ice cream. Special foods: "Special Bauska foods," "Miķelis" pork chop.
	Sabiles Sidrs Cidery	Sabile ciders are crafted from natural apple juice using traditional cider-making methods. Our Story The owners of Sabile Cidery are the Circenis family – Baiba and Aldis. The idea of the cidery came from both tending the family orchard near Sabile, where old, majestic apple trees grow, and from learning about cider culture and production traditions in England and France. Apples The apples used for cider-making are grown in the orchards of Kurzeme – both dessert apples and specially selected varieties suitable for cider production. Ciders Sabile's ciders are intense, yet fresh and sparkling, with or without additional flavours. Two brands of cider are produced: Sabiles Cider and Gardener's. There are also mulled ciders and cider cocktails available. Sabile's ciders have won awards at international competitions in Spain, Germany, Norway, and Riga. For Visitors The cidery offers tours with stories about cider-making in Sabile, as well as tastings at the Sabile's Cider House. 	Mr. Plume Cidery	Mr Plūme Cidery crafts cider from select apple varieties grown in their own orchard and foraged from the wild, as well as perry made from carefully chosen pears. Our Story Māris and Dace Plūme have been crafting cider since 2010, drawing on experience gained in top cider houses in France and Austria and experimenting with various cider and winemaking methods. Apples Their 1.5-hectare orchard is home to rare and aromatic dessert apple varieties, the latest apple hybrids, and select pear varieties from Austria, England, and local sources, all cultivated for perry production. Each autumn, the owners embark on “apple safaris,” searching for interesting wild apple trees from which they gather fruit, adding the best to their collection. The orchard also includes unique apple and pear varieties discovered by the owners, such as ‘Pāvilosta Cider Apple,’ ‘Kaibala Bitter,’ ‘Aizpute Pear,’ and others. Ciders They produce both naturally sparkling and still apple ciders, using wild fermentation (without adding yeast) or different types of yeasts. They also make premium ciders from one to four select apple or pear varieties from their orchard, which showcase the distinct ‘terroir’ of the farm. Mr Plūme ciders have won awards at cider competitions in Spain, Germany, Norway, Madeira, as well as in Baltic and Nordic competitions. 	Abuls Cidery	Abuls is one of the most experienced cider makers in Latvia. They craft artisanal cider near Smiltene, in Northern Vidzeme. Our Story Cider making began in 2000, with passionate experimentation using local apples each year. Later, inspiration was drawn from visiting cider regions in Normandy, Asturias, Somerset, and the Basque Country. Since 2018, cider has been made in a newly built cider cellar near an orchard, at the very source of the Abuls River. Apples The cider orchard hosts about 400 apple trees - some are special English cider apples, local wild apples, paradise apples, and local late autumn apple varieties. True apple varieties are also sought on expeditions in Latvian nature - in forest edges, ditches, and abandoned gardens. Ciders The ciders are crafted using white wine-making techniques, which help preserve the freshness and local apple aroma as much as possible. All Abuls ciders are handmade. The cider is also fermented using the wild yeasts found on apple skins, which adds a natural sweetness of apple juice. For Visitors The offer includes a tour of the cidery and orchard, a tasting of all available ciders, stories about cider culture, and the cider-making process. 	Medieval pub in JAUNPILS CASTLE	Meals are served in the ancient dining room of the knights under the vaulted ceiling, with candlelight and medieval music. Use wooden spoons or your hands to enjoy the same kind of feast that was enjoyed in the past by barons, monks and servants. Latvian cuisine: Lentil soup with meatballs, beer soup, apple soup with raisins, peas with hemp, potted sautéed meat with caraway seeds, chanterelles in cream sauce, hunter’s sausage with cabbage, roast loin of pork, blood sausage, roast leg of duck with lingonberry sauce, stream trout, homemade cottage cheese with strawberries, plum dessert with whipped cream.
