	The Sveki rabbit garden	This is the most modern rabbit farm in the Baltic States. The animals live in cages in a shed, but there are also cages outside where they can be viewed. Children will love contacts with 24 types of rabbits, as well as an opportunity to study the surrounding area from a viewing tower. If you apply in advance, you can purchase fresh rabbit meat, sausages, dried meats and pâté. A new thing at the farm is the Mangalicas breed of wild pigs from Hungary.
	Ugis Puzulis’ ceramics workshop	The craftsman produces pottery typical of Vidzeme, but with the range of colours that is typical of Latgale. These products fit in very nicely with the lovely landscape of Racupkalns. You can take a tour, watch the master at work, and work with clay yourself. You can also watch as he opens a Lettigalian ditch kiln. You can commission and purchase the products, as well.
	The Jankalni farm	This beautiful farm near the hillocks of Lake Kālis grows raspberries, strawberries, cranberries and blackberries. During the season, you can pick, taste and buy the berries. Informational tours are also available.
	The Apareni biological farm	The farm is among the lovely hillocks of the Vidzeme highlands, and you can visit a decorative garden with more than 30 birds, including pigeons, pheasants, chickens, water birds, etc. There are picnic facilities and a playground for the kids.
	The Purmalas farm	The farm breeds goats and grows vegetables. You can take a tour, help to milk the goats, and taste and country goodies such as cheese, bread and pierogi. You can also help to make cheese.
	Mu cheese	This small plant produces various kinds of cheese – quick cheese, Summer Solstice cheese, cheese balls, etc. Guests are welcome to take part in the making of cheese, and tastings and purchases are available.
	The ceramist Janis Seiksts	You can visit the workshop, watch the craftsman at work, try your own hand at the process, and purchase clay objects, including garden ceramics. There is also a lovely garden to view.
	The Stradins master workshop	The master craftsman uses natural wood to produce furniture and interior design elements. He uses the tree from the tip to the root. Each artwork accents the form and texture of the wood, and the workshop offers an unusual look at wood and people. You can attend educational events and commission and purchase gifts and souvenirs.
	The Ate Mill Museum	The 11 buildings of the museum feature farm equipment, horse-related equipment, several dozen internal combustion motors, as well as tools used by craftspeople and farmers during Latvia’s first period of independence. The annual harvest festival brings together as many as 2,000 visitors. A harvest festival features special porridge. Groups can take part in a bread programme, watching the production of bread from dough to loaf.
	The Lejas farm	The farm produces large amounts of nectar plants, including mustard plants, clover, lacy phacelia and buckwheat. These are used for apiaries and seeds. You can take a tour and learn about the lives of bees. You can also taste and purchase honey made from willow, buckwheat, heather and other sources. The honeys have won a series of prizes.
	The Lejas Kakupi environmental health farm	Professional pharmacist producing herbal teas and popularising the medical properties of plants. Tasting of herbal teas and teaching which plants suit each individual person. Knowledge of the plants here is well combined with various healing rituals. Facilities: collection of medicinal plants, seminars on healthy lifestyle and usage of the plants, plant pharmacy.
	Lielkruzes, a Latvian farm	Organic farming principles which maintain the biological diversity of the surrounding region will be explained to visitors during a tour which also offers consultations on environmentally friendly farming. Organic produce is available for purchase, and visitors can relax on the waterside - fishing, enjoying a sauna and making use of local accommodations. A herd of wild cattle can also be observed.
	The Mazvasaraudzi farm	The farm produces vegetables, medicinal plants and honey. You can look at Charolais cattle and buy products. The lady of the house will talk about her experience in relation to her farm and biological farms that are in the neighbourhood.
	The Piebalga porcelain factory	Since 2007, visitors have been able to tour a porcelain factory that offers an exhibition of porcelain products. You can buy souvenirs or commission special products. Children will love the porcelain painting studio that is in the mansion of the nearby Vecpiebalga Estate.
	Goat’s cheese farm LIVI	This is one of the largest goat farms in Latvia, with approximately 160 pedigree goats (Alp, Anglo, German White Noble and other breeds), as well as pigs for breeding purposes. You can take a tour and help in herding the goats. Kid goats can be seen in the spring. You can taste various kinds of cheese, ice-cream made from goat milk and watch how the goats are milked (around 5:00 PM every day). You can also taste and purchase canned meat. No preservatives are ever added to the farm’s products.
	The Vecpapani farm	The farm grows fruit trees and raspberries, and it makes homemade wines from various fruits and berries, including raspberries, black currants and apples. You can purchase products, and groups of up to 25 people can attend wine tastings in a very fine hall.
	Vintner Dzintars Galejs	The vintner makes wine from berries and fruits that he grows himself. You can taste and/or buy currant, sparkling apple, black currant, dandelion, rhubarb and other wines that have been declared to be “Natural Products.”
	The Gretes farm	The farm breeds breeding cows (Galloway, Hereford, Limousine, Charolais and Latvian brown species). You can take an informational tour and watch the feeding of calves.
	The Jaunkaleji bakery	The farm uses ancient recipes from grandmothers to bake aromatic sourdough and rye bread on maple leaves, with the crunch crust being processed with flax oil. You can help to bake the bread and then taste and buy it.
	The sauna workshop	Here you will find everything that you need for a proper Latvian sauna – bowls, scoops, tubs large and small, switches, linen products and log saunas as such. You can tour the workshop, try out your own hand at the work that the owners do, and commission or purchase their products.
	The Maurini farm	The farm breeds rabbits, goats, pigs, cows, horses, and foreign animals such as Cameroon sheep and marmots. You can take a tour to look at wild horses and other animals. You and purchase biological products and take a sauna in a structure built on the basis of the traditions of Lettigalian black saunas.
	The wood carver Viesturs Klavins	The master craftsman produces wooden spoons of linden and birch, as well as sauna switches with apples. You can watch him at work, try your own hand at making a spoon, purchase finished products, tour a collection of spoons, and also visit the old farm buildings.
	The Kalna Pakalniesi farm	The farm produces dairy products and strawberries. You can learn to bake rye bread, make cheese and ice cream, and look at sheep, goats, pigs, calves, cows, horses, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. If you like, you can help with the farm work and taste and purchase the products.
	The Ziemeli farm	The farm grows and collects more than 80 types of medicinal plants, including peppermint, marigold, chamomile, oregano, St John’s wort, wormwood, oats, creeping thyme, broadleaf plantain, field penny-cress, meadowsweet, etc. You can take a tour and learn all about medicinal plants and how they are used. During autumns, you can purchase medicinal teas.
	The workshop of craftsman Harijs Bulins	The craftsman carves various sizes of wooden spoons. He demonstrates his skills, and you can purchase the products or order any type of spoons that you desire.
	Vecpiebalga water lilies	On the edge of the Bērzkrogs-Madona road in the centre of Vecpiebalga, you will find a pond full of various types of water lilies of different colours. The owner will tell you all about the popular folk song about water lilies from Vecpiebalga, offer plants for sale and offer practical advice. The pond also has carp which children can feed by hand while their parents are listening to the stories.
	Homemade wine at “Stop for Thoughts”	The owner of the venue makes homemade wine on the basis of traditions that have been handed down from generation to generation. 	The Ataugas farm	The farm grows raspberries and strawberries, and you can pick and buy berries and also purchase plants. You can take a tour of the farm and receive consultations. Groups of no fewer than ten people can take part in the baking of countryside sourdough bread. You will learn how to knead the dough, make a loaf and churn butter, and then you will be able to taste the freshly baked bread.
	The Poliesi farm	The farm specialises in cattle, goat and vegetable farming. You can learn about biological farming methods and purchase products. The farm is in a very lovely location.
	Piekuni – sauna rituals and the Latvian way of life	Piekūni offers Latvian sauna rituals merged with folk songs and herbal teas. You can then sleep in a bed made of round wood and designed in accordance with ancient Latvian style. The owners will offer you a tour to tell you all about how our ancestors dealt with the environment – plants, rocks, sources of energy, etc.
