Das Museum wurde 1991 gegründet. Im Geburtshof von S. Darius wurden Haus und Speicher der Eltern wiederaufgebaut. In beiden Gebäuden gibt es jetzt Ausstellungen. In einem erzählt die Ausstellung über die Geschichte der Luftfahrt in Litauen und das Leben von Darius, während die andere Ausstellung dem traditionellen niederlitauischen Haushalt gewidmet ist. Neben dem Museum gibt es einen Campingplatz, wo man sich erholen und auch für längere Zeit niederlassen kann.

Celta ~ 1560. g. vietā, kur agrāk atradusies Sakas osta. Dievnamā apskatāms > 170 gadus vecs kuģa modelis. Vietējie ticēja, kas tas aizsargā jūrniekus un bojāejas. Šāda tradīcija Latvijā ir novērojama tikai dažās baznīcās. Baznīcu var apskatīt arī no iekšpuses. |

The complex dates back to the 17th and 18th century, when a fortress was replaced by a mansion and other buildings. The rectangular yard that is in the centre of the state is surrounded by the mansion, two granaries with columns that were built opposite one another, a stable and a wheelhouse. The stable and wheelhouse, the bell tower and the gate create the most impressive part of the buildings. Bells were rung because of religious rituals, but also to inform people at the estate about everyday issues. The silhouette of the building is reminiscent of cloisters, city halls and churches that were common in Europe in the 18th century. In 1780, the estate was taken over by the family of Karl Otto von Löwenstern, and the mansion can only be viewed from the outside. There is a hiking trail near the estate. |

Der Leuchtturm wurde in 1925 gebaut. Sein strahlendweißer Turm ist nicht hoch, aber sieht dafür aber eindrucksvoll auf dem abgespültem Felsen aus, der mit Betonblocken gefestigt ist. |

Das ist ein großes Territorium mit Küstenwiesen, alten Flüssen und Schilf. Es befindet sich in einem Gebiet, wo die Daugava floss – zwischen Vecmīlgrāvis und Vecāķi. Hier gibt es Binnendünenwiesen, mit dem sehr seltenen Silbergras bedeckt. Vecdaugava ist ein wichtiges Nistgebiet, hier werden verschiedene seltene Pflanzenarten gefunden. Am südlichen Ende der Vecdaugava – Insel, bei Skanstnieki, kann man noch Überreste von schwedischen Befestigungsanlagen aus dem Mittelalter finden. Das Regionale Forschungs- und Fischereimuseum von Vecdaugava befindet sich auch hier.

Vitrupe – Tūja ist ein wichtiges Naturschutzgebiet für Riffe. Das Gebiet befindet sich gegenüber der Region Salacgrīva. Die Fläche beträgt 3577 ha. Das Gebiet enthält den Meeresteil vom Naturverbot „Die Steinküste von Vidzeme“

Cena's heath swamp's trail was made to introduce vistors to one of the most beautiful things in nature - a moss swamp. The pathway goes not only around beautiful swamp lakes but also meets the degraded part of the swamp. At the beggining and the end is a watch tower. |

The Dobele Crafts House is to the East of Market Square at Baznīcas Street 8 in Dobele. Enthusiasts use it to preserve ancient traditions from the Zemgale region. Workshops to teach crafts are organised here five days a week. |

The viewing tower is in the southern part of the reserve, along the Ļaudona-Mārciena road and on the Madona-Trepe embankment. Here you can view a very wide territory all the way to the Vidzeme highlands, including Gaiziņkalns Hill if the weather is clear. At the foot of the tower you will see the lakes known as Small and Great Lake Plencis. |

Die Bauernwirtschaft Kaigari befindet sich in der Gemeinde Mežotne der Region Bauska. Sie ist auf die Züchtung von Samen der Getreidepflanzen spezialisiert. In der Wirtschaft werden aktiv die Möglichkeiten der EU-Projekte genutzt, die geholfen haben, moderne landwirtschaftliche Produktionstechnik zu kaufen. Insgesamt werden ungefähr 400 ha bewirtschaftet. Aus dem Apfelbaumgarten der Wirtschaft bietet sich eine wunderbare Aussicht auf das Tal des Flusses Lielupe. |

Die jahrhunderte alte Poststrasse führt zu Varbuse, wo sich die einzig intakten Poststation (1863) in Estland befindet. Früher gab es hier einen Pferdepoststation, heute ist hier das Estnische Strassenmuseum. Wenn Sie in den einzigartigen Expositsionsraum eintreten, können Sie die Verkehrsschilder sehen, die man auf den heutigen Straßen nicht mehr findet. Die Querschnitte der Straßenbeläge ermöglichen einen Blick in die Geheimnisse des Straßenbaus. Im historischen Straßenraum sind Strassenabschnitte dargestellt, so dass man den Hauch unterschiedlicher Zeitalter erleben kan. |

No Jašas ezera var uzsākt laivu braucienu pa vienu no Latgales ezeru "kēdēm". Ezera austrumu krastā atrodas Geļenovas parks.

The wetland meadows that are around the Pededze River are the site of this 200 ha farm with some 350 red deer, other deer and wild boar. There are towers from which you can watch the graceful animals, and there are ponds for commercial fishing. Please contact the owner well in advance for a tour. |

Atrodas Pļaviņu HES ūdenskrātuves krastā (R. Blaumaņa ielas galā) iepretim salai, uz kuras top Likteņdārzs. Baznīca (celta 1687. g.) ir vairākkārt atjaunota (1731., 1887.). Tagad redzamais tornis tapis par Stukmaņu muižas īpašnieku atvēlētajiem līdzekļiem. Baznīcā par mācītāju kalpojis Ernests Gliks. Padomju laikos ēkā atradies Stučkas vēstures un mākslas muzejs. Apmeklētāji var uzkāpt dievnama tornī (čuguna zvans!), kā arī aplūkot mākslinieka A. Dobenberga gleznas. Baznīca ir atvērta un apskatāma arī no iekšpuses. |

The park was established to protect the Venta River valley and the landscapes that are around its tributaries. On the west bank of the Venta, at Papilė, there is a cliff from the Jurassic period which is unique in the Baltic States, has been known since 1925, and has layers in which more than 300 forms of life have been identified over the course of time.
