As you travel from Kandava to Sabile, you will find a parking lot on the right side of the road. From there, there are steps to a viewing area on the highest hill in the Abava Ancient River Valley – Greiļi Hill. This offers a wonderful view of the ancient river valley and the local mosaic of meadows and forests. The landscape is enriched by the Imula and Amula valleys that are on the other side of the ancient river valley.

At the centre of this restricted area is the eutrophic Lake Tosmare, a former lagoon from the Littorina Sea. The lake and its surroundings offer protection to many plants and birds. At the southern end of the lake one can spot remnants of the former Liepāja fortification system, and to the West is one of the most important parts of that system – the Fortress canal. |

Viens no dažiem Latvijas dzidrūdens ezeriem. Apskatāms no Lubānas - Ļaudonas ceļa malas pie Visagala. Lai saudzētu šo ezeru, tajā esošos aizsargājamos biotopus un sugas, ūdenstilpē nevajadzētu peldēties lielām cilvēku masām un pieļaut cilvēka darbības produktu nonākšanu ezerā.

Находится в исторической части Павилосты около серых дюн. В строительстве спроектированного в современном стиле здания использован кирпич Лиепайского Военного порта. Широкие окна, летняя терраса. Сотрудничает с надомниками. Латышская кухня: Маринованная селедка, приготовленная на костре уха, холодный суп, овощной суп, жареная камбала и треска, копченые окуни и вимба, тонкие блинчики. Особое блюдо: Жареный палтус. |

В советское время к югу от Гардене находился один из крупнейших танковых полигонов Балтийского военного округа. В наши дни большая часть полигона - это неухоженная и заросшая территория, на которой сохранились фрагменты или развалины отдельных зданий и другие характеризующие полигоны элементы. С дороги Добеле – Аннениеки на полигон ведет бетонная армейская дорога, которая используется и сегодня. Интересна в этом плане и Гарденская застройка – сами здания и их планировка. В то время в Гардене жили воины Советской армии и их семьи.

This is part of a hiking trail along the Cena bog. It is on the western side of the bog, at the centre of the 5-kilometre circular trail. You can see the vast swamp, as well as a military road that was installed during World War I and is marked by an “alley” of large pine trees. Alongside the tower is a fragment of the road that was installed more recently.

Nature restricted area is established to protect various wetland habitats – Big Kirba Bog and protected plant species within it. Only the West part of the Bog is a protected nature area. The rest of the bog is used mainly for intensive extraction of peat and large cranberry cultivation. Nature restricted area of the bog has no tourism infrastructure therefore is not useable for tourist visits.

The farm breeds breeding cows (Galloway, Hereford, Limousine, Charolais and Latvian brown species). You can take an informational tour and watch the feeding of calves. |

The aerial tram across the Gauja is the only vehicle of its type in the Baltic States. It was installed in 1969 with the help of engineers from Georgia. The crossing is 1060 m long, and the cable which crosses the river is just one cable without any supports. The tram rides about 40 metres above the river, and it offers an outstanding look at the local landscapes. During the evening, the tram is used by Bungee jumpers. |

Divine Providence Catholic Church of Rikava (Baltini) was built in Doric style in 1929 by the donations
of landlord Alexander Riks. The church has icons „St. Antony” and „Jesus Christ appears to Mary
Magdalene”. Beside the church there is a cemetery and family vault of Riks.
