В 0,2 км к северо-востоку от Ливского народного дома, с дороги Мазирбе - Кошрагс виднеется «Сеппес». Хозяйственный амбар, имевший в углах бревенчатые соединения впритык, который в 20 - 30 годы прошлого столетия строил пришедший из Самсалы в Мазирбе эстонец - рыбак и плотник Екабс Яга. На другой стороне дороги виднеются «Калши» - жилое строение начала XX века. Восстановлено в наши дни, сохраняя в стенах дома кирпичи, которые обжигались в Брауской кирпичной печи Мазирбе.

The Soviet Border Guard arrived at Lapmežciems (its border with Ragaciems) in the mid-1960s and left in 1991.  Some 50 military personnel were stationed here.  The military personnel and local residents organised various events and celebrations.  The only thing that worried locals was a radar which was said to cause various problems.  The zenith missiles were dismantled and taken away in 1991.  An apartment building is still on what was then the military base.

This is the largest rock in the Baltic States and, according to some sources, in all of the segment of Northern Europe which was affected by the last Ice Age. Its size is 930 m3! The rock is 7.5 m high, 16.5 m long and 14 m high, with a circumference of 48.5 m. The rock resembles a huge pebble from a distance, and it is on the sandy and rocky beach. Depending on the season, it can be out in the water. The Ice Age carried the rock to its current location from the southern shore of Finland. It is made of pegmatite.

This study tour is designed to show Latvia's rye traditions as their central focus. This tour has been developed in cooperation with the Latvian Bakers’ Association.

Rye is both the basis of the Latvian diet and  a powerful symbol of Latvia's culture and culinary traditions. Itinerary emphasize traditional rye bread-baking and eating, as well as insights into the history of the rye grain from Latvia's earliest archaeological record to the present day. Itinerary include visits to working farms, grain mills and culturally and historically important locations.

This study tour is designed for groups and may be adapted to the needs, interests and timeframe of each client. Tour cost includes meetings with experts, site visits and admissions, accommodations, specified meals, sightseeing, transportation within Latvia and guides-interpreters.
