Ģimenes uzņēmums Svētes pagastā, netālu no Jelgavas. Kopš 2019.gada šeit top dažādi Latvijas priežu produkti, kas vērtīgi kā imunitātei, tā arī veselībai. Mītavas Čiekurs produktu galvenā sastāvdaļa ir Parastā priede (Pinus sylvestris). Tā bagāta ar ēterisko eļļu, sveķiem, miecvielām, C vitamīnu u.c. vērtīgām vielām. Tiek gatavotas priežu čiekuru karameles, čiekuru sīrupa zefīri, želejkončas, priežu čiekuru zapte, karamelizēti čiekuri sīrupā, šokolādē, kā arī priežu pumpuru sīrups un tēja.

Ekskursija norisinās 90-120 minūtes, kuru laikā atraktīvais saimnieks Reinis pastāstīs par uzņēmuma vēsturi, dalīsies receptēs, pagatavos katram apmeklētājam gardu dāvanu (čiekuru marmelādi), kā arī protams- varēs degustēst dažādos priežu produktus.

Andris Roze is one of very few kokle makers in Latvia who manufactures the instrument and helps others to do so at master’s classes.  Roze also manufactures other traditional musical instruments, demonstrates them, offers consultations about them, collects them and gathers together historical information.  He works at the Drabeši Crafts House, where people can learn traditional skills such as weaving, processing of leather, felting, pottery and construction of musical instruments.

Several of the buildings of the Šlītere Semi-Estate have survived to the present day – the servants' house (late 19th century), the pump house (mid-19th century), the smokehouse (mid-19th century), the cattle barn, etc.  A forestry building was built here in 1936 and renovated in 2010.  Since the end of 2009, the administration of the Slītere National Park has been housed here.  Today the building also houses the Kurzeme regional branch of the Environmental Protection Board.  Opposite the building are two yews, and there is a productive ivy which has covered the northern side of the servants' house.  The common yew and the Baltic ivy are symbols of Šlītere, and you can see and photograph them here without "bothering" them in their natural environment.  The pump house contains a well that is unique in Latvia – it is 34 m deep, which is nearly the height of the Blue Hills of Šlītere.  It reportedly was active until the 1970s and delivered water to the forestry system.  A fragment of the stone well can be seen as a part of the wall of the pump house.  The semi-estate is surrounded by small elements of a park, including an impressive alley of elm trees.  Locals says that pre-war Latvian President Kārlis Ulmanis spent the night at the building once while on a hunt.

This is an authentic Lettigalian farm which dates back to the early 20th century. It features a house, granary, cattle shed, sauna and smithy. Folklore groups perform here. You can celebrate the Summer Solstice, attend a St Michael’s Day market and learn ancient craftsmanship skills. Lettigalian foods are served to groups.

This is the centre for Catholicism in Latvia and a destination for pilgrims from all around the world.  Its origins date back to 1699, when the Dominican Order established a cloister.  One year later, it built the first wooden church.  The brick Church of St Dominic and the buildings of the cloister were erected between 1768 and 1800.  The Baroque church is distinguished by two towers that are 60 metres high.  The pulpit, organ prospectus, organ, prayer bench and pews come from the 18th century, while the side altars date back to the early 19th century.  The central altar includes the painting “The Miraculous Mother of God of Aglona,” which is thought to have healing properties.  For that reason, it is unveiled only during important events.  In advance of a visit to Latvia by Pope John Paul II in 1993, the complex underwent major rebuilding and restoration.  On August 15 each year, hundreds and thousands of pilgrims arrive in Aglona to celebrate the assumption of the Virgin Mary.  The holy stream of Aglona is 100 metres to the East of the basilica.

Laidze Parish Farm "Cukuriņi" is engaged in sea buckthorn cultivation. The farm covers about 10,000 sea buckthorns on an area of 6 hectares. The fields are treated with a computerized irrigation system. The owners of the grown berries both sell and process it themselves, obtaining sea buckthorn juice, oil and frozen berries.

Between Saunags and Vaide on the road to Kolka, you will see an area on the left (South) side of the road where there was a massive forest fire in 1992 which burned approximately 3,300 hectares of forest.  Biologists use the area to study the regeneration of the forest.  There were extensive and destructive fires here during the early 20th century, as well.  Swedish scientists say that there have been at least 15 fires in the forests of Šlītere over the last several centuries.  The burned area is in a nature reserve and can only be viewed from the road.

In Vecslabada, there is a peninsula among Lake Dziļezers, Lake Audzeļi, and Lake Istra. From the highest point on the peninsula, you will see a truly unusual view of the land of the blue lakes – lake islands, as well as the village of Vecslabada with its church towers. The rock is in the square outside the Skrunda Cultural Centre.  It was installed in 2005 in honour of the victory of Col Oskars Kalpaks and his battalion over the Bolsheviks.  During the Latvian liberation battles, on January 22, 1919, the Bolsheviks occupied Skrunda.  Kalpaks’ battalion headed toward the town on January 29 from the Rudbārži Estate.  After a three-hour battle, the victory was won, with the battalion taking over a strategic line near the banks of the Venta River.   This was the first victory for Kalpaks’ men after many retreats, and that inspired the rest of the liberation battles.

The stadium was opened in 1938 and has been rebuilt several times since then.  Outside the stadium is a memorial stone to honour of Jānis Dāliņš (1904-1978), who set several world records in race walking.  He won a silver medal at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1932.  The first Three Star Olympiad was held in the stadium in 1993.  The stadium is of national importance as an athletics stadium that hosts international competitions and various athletic activities.  It is known as the most youth-friendly facility of its type.

This farm has more than 20 years of experience with beekeeping products and their sale.  Groups of tourists can tour the farm with the help of a knowledgeable guide.  There are creative workshops for children, games for teams, tastings of products, a location for picnics, as well as luncheons of soup cooked on a campfire along with honey bread.
