Хозяйство «Йокас» находится 4 км восточнее Турлавы. Хозяин Янис Узуленс целенаправленно развивал и расширял предприятие начиная с его основания в 2011 году. Гордость хозяйства – стадо крупного рогатого скота мясной породы, в котором около 70 коров, а также пять лошадей. В хозяйстве производят колбасы и другую мясную продукцию. Хозяйство предлагает и другие услуги – обслуживание леса и рыбоводство. |

The main “treasure” in this restricted area is the shallow and eutrophic lake, which is home to many important birds. The lake and its flood-land meadows also feature many different plants. The Svētupe River flows from the northern part of the lake.

Латышская кухня: Холодный свекольный суп, суп с фрикадельками, щавелевый суп, суп из кислой капусты, куриная печенка, домашняя котлета, копченые свиные ребрышки, жареная свинина, приготовленная на гриле свинина, картофельные блины со сметаной, тонкие блины, натуральные чаи. На кладбище возле Лестенской лютеранской церкви перезахоронены более 900 воинов, павших во время Второй мировой войны. Это в основном воины, погибшие в боях Курляндского котла на территории Земгале и Видземе. В память павших установлен памятник «Родина-мать Латвия» скульптора Арты Думпе. Лестенское братское кладбище является вторым по величине (после Рижского Братского кладбища ) местом захоронения в Латвии латышских солдат, павших во время Второй мировой войны. На могильных плитах выгравированы имена ~ 11 000 воинов. |

The first church in Vecpiebalga was built in 1345, and the next one was built between 1839 and 1845 by the Livonian builder Mārcis Sārums. The church was destroyed in 1944 and restored between 1995 and 1997 (architect Ausma Skumiņa). The altar painting is titled “Christ Walking in the Land of Piebalga.” Outside the church is a rock to commemorate those who suffered from political repressions in Latvia. |

The memorial stone to Augusts Muižulis,a recipient of the Lāčplēsis Military Order, is placed in the Lapmežciems, at the edge of the road (P 128, Jūrmala-Talsi) at the marker for the 9th kilometre. A. Muižulis, (189 –1941) was a lieutenant colonel in the No. 4 Valmiera Infantry Brigade. The adjacent Tuteņi homestead is his native home. |

The garden is opposite the Brenguļi brewery, where unfiltered and unpasteurised beers are made from locally grown grains and on the basis of the knowledge of ancestors. The beer garden offers light and dark Brenguļi beer, as well as Latvian dishes. Latvian cuisine: Grey peas with bacon, sausages with cabbage, Rūjiena ice cream. |

The Līgatne Paper Factory is located at Pilsoņu Street 1 in Līgatne. The factory was first built in place of an old paper windmill by two tradesman from Rīga who also built dormitories for residents. These structures are an important component in the urban environment of Līgatne. The rapid flow of the Līgatne River allowed the factory to produce writing paper, stationary and wrapping paper. In 1858, the factory was brought by a local nobleman who brought in new equipment from Scotland. If some 100 people worked at the factory during the first half of the 19th century, then that number rose to 600 by the end of the century and 800 at the beginning of the 20th century. Writing paper was the primary product from the factory, although there were sometimes special orders. During World War I, for instance, the factory produced paper on which the Russian military printed its maps. This allowed the factory to hold an important role in the Russian market. During the Soviet era, the factory at Līgatne produced notebooks and other products that were sent all over the USSR. Today the factory mostly produces wrapping paper of various kinds from waste paper. The Līgatne Paper Factory is the only functioning entity of its kind in Latvia, and there are guides available to give you a tour. The historical centre of the campus on which the factory sits is a cultural monument. The Līgatne Tourism Information Centre (_371-6415-3313) offers tours of the centre during which you will learn about the lives of the factory's workers and administrators in the late 19th and early 20th century. Back then there was major construction work at the factory to build residences for workers, a school, a childbirth facility, a hospital, a club, a guesthouse and other buildings which have survived to the present day. |

The museum at Valdemāra Street 47 was opened in 1969 in the building of the maritime school that was opened in 1864 at the suggestion of Krišjānis Valdemārs. The school trained more than 1,000 sea captains and helmsmen. The exhibition at the museum relates to the operations of the school, as well as the building of sailing ships on the Vidzeme shoreline during the latter half of the 19th century and the early part of the 20th century. There is a collection of anchors, as well as the top of the Ainaži lighthouse, which was once washed away by the sea, but has been restored. |

The campsite is located next to the beach and is suitable for recreation with family and friends, as well as for organizing a variety of thematic and recreational events. The proximity to the "Dubulti" and "Jaundubulti" railway stations makes it easy to move around Jurmala or get to Riga. The campsite is also suitable for families with pets. |
