Koņuciems of Pape is one of the few seashore fishing villages in Latvia to have preserved an authentic environment to the present day. This is a biological goat farm and cheese-making plant that offers various cheeses made of goat’s milk and cow milk.  The farm has some 100 dairy cows.  Owners Ruta and Stefans welcome guests and speak Latvian, German and Russian.  The cheese is available on site, at the Kalnciems market in Rīga and elsewhere in Latvia.

It is rare type of lake in Latvia and there are only of few this type of lakes in Kurzeme region. The lake is characterized by high water limpidness (very attractive for tourists) and very rare plant species for Latvia. Lustužkalns Hill (72 m ASL). A hunting castle owned by Livonian Order master Walther von Plettenberg was located here in the 16 century. During the reign of Russian Empress Catherine the Great, a recreational castle was built here. A legend from the time says that a golden carriage is at the bottom of the local Lake Valgums.

The organic farm Zemturi is a 30 min drive from Kuldiga. The farm is mainly engaged in breeding rabbits and is designed as a place for children to see, learn about rabbits, birds and other pets. The River Ķīšupe (length – 31 km) begins its journey in the marshlands of Lēdurga Parish. As the river reaches the seashore, its bed and the location of its mouth often changes. One of the tributaries of the Ķīšupe carries a rather interesting name – Pupaļurga. The name of the River Ķīšupe probably comes from the name of a man and his house. The trail climbs up and down along the bluffs of lower River Pilsupe and reveals a fascinating sight of three white dune exposures (the largest is called the White Dune).
