	Cafe Alida	Aromatic coffee is produced here from chicory and on the basis of ancient recipes from grandma Alīda. All of the ingredients come from surrounding fields and forests. Roasted chicory coffee PAULĪNE (rye, chicory, carrots, acorns); roasted rye, chicory, and hemp coffee SĒLIJA (rye, chicory, carrots, hemp leaves); rye malt, chicory, and hop coffee VIESĪTE (rye malt grains, chicory, hops). Produce can be purchased.The owner will offer you a tour, during which you will be able to taste and buy her coffee.
	The „Valguma pasaule” restaurant	The restaurant is on the banks of Lake Valgums and at an historical location where the Soviet Union had a base for government leaders. Today this is a lovely place for active or calm recreation. Elegant dishes are offered in the glass room, and soup is cooked on a campfire.
	Abavas gimenes vindaritavas vinogu darzs un vinotava	The vineyard of the ABAVA family winery covers 3.5 ha at this time, and is being expanded year by year. We have a wide range of types of grapes, and we harvest them each year to produce a limited amount of wine. The winery was set up by the family of Mārtiņš and Liene Barkāns, and it is a well-developed company which produces high-quality beverages from fruits and berries that are grown in Latvia. The ABAVA winery was established in 2010, and it quite quickly became one of Latvia’s leading wineries.
	The “Maurini” guesthouse	The guest house is located about 6 km from Sigulda. "Mauriņi" was built in such a way that one of the ancient oak trees is visible from each window. Home cooking, using local farmers' products, berries and mushrooms picked in the area, and home-grown vegetables. Cakes and mini pies with a variety of fillings. Latvian cuisine: Wild mushroom sauce, pork’s head soup, potato dumpling milk soup, barley soup, wild mushroom soup, fish soup, potato dumplings with bacon and cream, porridge, stuffed rutabaga, sautéed chicken, wild game, stacked rye bread, bread soup, whipped dessert with berry sauce, crepes, pierogi. Special foods: Mauriņi pastry and more than 80 different types of jam.
	Valguma pasaules baskaju taka	The first barefoot trail created in the Baltic States in the recreation complex "Valguma pasaule", which is located on the forested shores of Lake Valguma. When walking on the path, the feet "massage" sand, wood chips, clay, peat, gravel, cones and various other materials.
	Piekuni – sauna rituals and the Latvian way of life	Piekūni offers Latvian sauna rituals merged with folk songs and herbal teas. You can then sleep in a bed made of round wood and designed in accordance with ancient Latvian style. The owners will offer you a tour to tell you all about how our ancestors dealt with the environment – plants, rocks, sources of energy, etc.
	The “Mammadaba” café	The café is in the Information Centre of the Tērvete Nature Park. It offers appetizers and complex luncheons, as well as baked goods and tortes. Group visits must be booked in advance. The café can serve groups of 10-50 people indoors and 100-200 people outdoors. Latvian cuisine: Sautéed turnips with grits, roast pork with onions, “Forester’s porridge”. Special foods: “Elf’s pocket with wild mushrooms”.
	Imantas	Located on the steep bluff seaside of the Baltic Sea. The seasonal menu mostly focuses on local fish and lamprey. You can also taste freshly baked carrot pies (žograuši) here.
	Medieval pub in JAUNPILS CASTLE	Meals are served in the ancient dining room of the knights under the vaulted ceiling, with candlelight and medieval music. Use wooden spoons or your hands to enjoy the same kind of feast that was enjoyed in the past by barons, monks and servants. Latvian cuisine: Lentil soup with meatballs, beer soup, apple soup with raisins, peas with hemp, potted sautéed meat with caraway seeds, chanterelles in cream sauce, hunter’s sausage with cabbage, roast loin of pork, blood sausage, roast leg of duck with lingonberry sauce, stream trout, homemade cottage cheese with strawberries, plum dessert with whipped cream. Special foods: “Castle Walls with Guards”: Beer-roasted pork ribs with sauerkraut.
	The “Rozu krodzins” saloon of the Piena Estate	The saloon is in the restored mansion of the Sieksāte (Berghof) Estate, and there is a milk museum in the granary and the cheese-making building. Guests can try their hand at milking cows and at churning and tasting fresh butter. Latvian cuisine: Rye bread, herring with cottage cheese, milk soup, boiled potatoes a la countryside with chives, sliced venison, pike-perch in cream, plaice with peas, potato pancakes with lingonberry jam. Special foods: Piena Estate cheesecake, homemade egg liqueur.
	KALNMUIZAS restaurant	Located in Kalnmuižas Castle. The pride of the restaurant's menu are the greens, fruits and vegetables from the ancient valley of the River Abava, wild game and mushrooms from Kurzeme forests, meat, crayfish, trout, goat’s cheese and home-made bread from the district’s farms. The menu depends on the season. Offer includes seasonal specialities.
	THE LIEPAS PLANT FARM	The Liepas farm in Dobele is a dynamically developing plant farm, specialising in fruit trees, berry bushes and roses. On offer are locally grown, high-quality and appropriate for Latvia's climate fruit tree, rose and berry bush planting materials, with a wide variety of types. Visitors will see plants in containers and an introductory garden which shows how a small fruit tree looks when it is grown up. During the spring, visitors will enjoy the blooming season, and during the summer and autumn they will be able to taste cherries, plums, apples and pears.
	The Usma SPA restaurant	This restaurant is located in a lovely place on the north bank of Lake Usma, which is the fifth largest lake in Latvia. Latvian cuisine: Cod or pike-perch filet, potted vegetables and mushrooms, potato pancakes with smoked ham, crepes with jam or honey. Special foods: Mutton soup with vegetables.
	Radosa maja Smilgaji	Radošā māja "Smilgāji" ir vieta, kur top radoša kopā būšana garšīgā atmosfērā! Smilgāju mājas saimnieks ikdiena savu radošumu pauž mēbeļu ražošanā un ir iespēja ielūkoties to tapšanas procesā. Mājas saimniece jau vairākus gadus viesus uzņem ''Mājas kafejnīcu dienās'', piedāvājot gardus ēdienus, pašceptu maizīti, kūkas un karstos dzērienus.
	Forest retreat "Baldone"	The “Baldone Sauna for Friends” weekend house offers families, couples, good friends and small groups rooms for leisure amidst a mighty forest of beautiful fir and pine trees during the summer and the winter. Fans of sauna rituals can enjoy a sauna according to the Latvian style, with aromatic herbal teas, a salt or coffee scrub, and a bucket of cold water for contrast. Outside is a tub of hot water for leisure and conversations during which the tops of the pine trees, the moon and the stars can be watched. Guests have access to a large living room with a fireplace and a well-appointed kitchenette. There are four bedrooms – a yellow one with six single beds and a double bed, a lavatory and a shower; as well as violet, reddish and green rooms with double beds that share a lavatory and a shower. There is room for as many as 18 people in all.
	PIENA MUIZA - BERGHOF PIRTIS	The Berghof Milk Estate with saunas. The weekend sauna at the estate offers a country sauna and the holiest type of traditional sauna – the black rock sauna. This is a ritual which takes several hours, with handmade switches, massages, scrubs, rinsing and herbal teas from Sieksāte. The mansion of the estate has a wet sauna, a steam sauna, a basin with a stream and a fireplace. The Rožu Saloon off ers delicious dining, and the Milk Spa allows you to relax in milk baths. 	Meza skuki	This is an apiary which you can tour and then taste honey and buy products. There are also sauna rituals for health and beauty.
	Kempings ''Muiznieki''	This well-appointed campsite is on the shore of Lake Usma and in a lovely and neat forested area. Come and relax in heated huts which accommodate six people with all modern conveniences. The guesthouse has a fireplace hall, a sauna, and four rooms to spend the night in. You can take a countryside sauna and rent a jacuzzi. The venue has a volleyball court and a basketball hoop. You can rent rowboats, motorboats, canoes, catamarans and SUP boards. A ferry called “Ņiprais” offers rides around Lake Usma. There’s a playground for children, good places for tents, and very good places for fishing, berry-picking and mushroom hunting. The campsite is in an advantageous place in that several towns in Kurzeme are nearby.
	Sparni	The farmstead "Spārni" is located on the Latvian-Lithuanian border, near the Vadakste river. In summer, there are tent and caravan sites for individual travelers and small groups. Picnic opportunity. Fireplace and grill place. Pond and garden goodies. Animal friendly. There are also birch sap, herbal tea with dandelion honey, fruit / berry kvass tastings, opportunities to participate in farm work. The hosts offer excursions arround Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
	Abava Winery	Abava Winery, located in the Abava River Valley in Kurzeme, invites you to sample Latvia’s fruit and berry ciders, wines, and distillates. Our Story The inspiration to create the winery came to the owners during their honeymoon trip, while visiting Europe’s oldest wineries. It is now regarded as the largest winery and cidery in Latvia. Apples The 4-hectare apple orchard includes trees planted during the Soviet era, representing the industrial apple varieties of that time. Ciders Abava ciders are made from apples grown in Latvia and stand out with their distinctive northern flavour – a classic Old World heritage, enriched with northern herbs, berries, fruit characteristics, and bold creative blends. Abava ciders have been awarded at international exhibitions and competitions. For Visitors The owners invite you to visit the cidery, learn about the story of cider, and enjoy various ciders during a tasting. Groups can order platters of snacks and catering. During the harvest season, guests are invited to participate in apple picking. The cider estate also offers venues for events, seminars, parties, corporate gatherings, and celebrations.
