This park dates back to the mid-18th century and is to the south of Lake Stelmuže. There are winding trails on all sides of the hillock that lead to the Christ the King Church, with linden, maple, oak, birch, fir, elm and pine trees. At the foot of the hillock is the Laime stream, and visitors are welcome to stroll along the alley of oak trees. The oldest and fattest oak tree in Lithuania is one of the oldest ones in Europe. It is though that it is 1,500 to 2,000 ears old, and its record-setting diameter is 3.5 metres (eight or nine people linking hands are needed to encircle it). The tree is 23 m high. |

The viewing area is near the top of the Vilce castle hill, with a view of the Rukūze River valley, Zaķi meadow, and surrounding forests. This is an unusual landscape for the region of Zemgale. The Vilce baronial estate is nearby.

This is the only Straw Museum in Latvia, with ~370 sculptures and dolls made of straw and hay. Children in particular will love the chance to learn skills related to straw and hay at the creative straw workshop, where specific methodologies have been developed. Children will be able to take the things that they create along with them. The owners prepare holiday designs and elements, as well as attractive souvenirs. |

Professional agricultural tour with visits to local farms typical of the region. We will meet and greet you in Vilnius and have a city sightseeing tour. Next day we go to Kaunas, for professional meetings and sightseeing of the city. On the way to Riga, we visit picturesque Trakai Castle situated on a lake. At Panevezys we have a visit to a professional apple grower. In Riga we have an Old Town sightseeing tour as well as a visit to the impressive Central Market. In Bauska we have a professional visit to a farm specilaizing in implementing innovative farming (grains, vegetables, potatoes). From Riga on the way to Tallinn, we visit Sigulda town and medieval Turaida Castle with great panoramic views to the ancient Gauja Valley. In Tallinn we have an Old Town tour through narrow cobbled streets followed by a professional visit to a dairy farm in Saku, meeting with the Estonian Farm Union and visiting another cattle and crop farm near Tallinn. |

This is the birthplace of the poet Jonas Mačulis-Maironis (1862-1932), and it is an historical and environmentally protected area with the villages of Pagojuki, Pasandravjo and Bernoti. It is a branch of the Raseini District Museum of History, and the environmentally protected area is part of the Dubisos Regional Park. |

The Bebrene Catholic Church is opposite the Bebrene Estate on the side of the Ilūkste-Birži road. Work on the church began in 1797, but it was only completed in 1883. The outside of the church is in the style of Classicism, while the interior was designed in Baroque forms. The interior of the church can be viewed during worship services. |

The farm breeds several species of chinchillas and offers a look at them. There are also decorative pheasants, peacocks, doves and different kinds of chickens, along with marmots, dwarf goats, chipmunks, rabbits, a pony, etc. You can purchase chinchillas, decorative birds and other animals, along with quail eggs, chinchilla pelts and souvenirs. Dobele name in historical sources for the first time is mentioned in1254. Dobele was one of the most fortified Semigallian places; therefore from 1279 until 1289 it survived six attacks by German crusaders. In 1289 Semigallians was forced to retreat. In 1335 conquerors instead of Semigallian castle began construction of new - stone castle. On the opposite shore of Berze - on the left bank merchants and craftsmen village began to form. Town suffered greatly during the Northern War and during the subsequent plague. A significant event in the economic life was the 1927, when Liepaja-Gludas railway line was built. After World War II in Dobele and its vicinity came to the Soviet militaries, who built one of the largest Soviet tanks range "Dobele-2". Now Dobele travellers are offered a range of interesting sites to be visited. |

On this tour there are the finest cultural and historical heritage left behind over the course of several centuries – medieval castles, different manors and splendid palaces. Part of the route goes through Gauja National Park with some excellent views of meadows and ancient forest, where farmsteads carry on with their unchanging lives. A picturesque road connects three castles - Sigulda, Turaida and Krimulda - situated on the high valley sides of the Gauja river. Further on, the road passes one of the oldest churches in Latvia and heads to two attractive 19th century manors at Birini and Igate. Next day, relax in luxury at Dikļi manor hotel. The tour then goes through charming medieval town Cesis with mighty castle ruins and a newer castle alomgside. The other part of the tour makes a loop formed by Zemgale's distinctive castles and palaces. It includes Jaunpils Castle, barely changed since medieval times, Dobele Castle ruins and Tervete ancient hillock. Located a short ride from each other are 15th century Bauska Castle, strategically situated between two rivers, the classically styled Mežotne Palace hotel and the most famous pearl in the Baltics - splendid baroque and rococo style Rundāle Palace surrounded by a French park. |

This farm offers apple, pear, cherry and plum trees, black currants, red currents, gooseberries, raspberries, quince, chokeberries and sweet mountain-ash. The owners will teach you about establishing fruit orchards and growing fruit trees. Candies made at the farm are for sale. |

The only school-based botanical garden in Lithuania was planted in 1989 at the Traupis school. More than 8,000 types of plants grow in the garden, and all of them have been collected by Sigutis Obelevičius. |
