This study tour is designed to show Latvia's rye traditions as their central focus. This tour has been developed in cooperation with the Latvian Bakers’ Association.

Rye is both the basis of the Latvian diet and  a powerful symbol of Latvia's culture and culinary traditions. Itinerary emphasize traditional rye bread-baking and eating, as well as insights into the history of the rye grain from Latvia's earliest archaeological record to the present day. Itinerary include visits to working farms, grain mills and culturally and historically important locations.

This study tour is designed for groups and may be adapted to the needs, interests and timeframe of each client. Tour cost includes meetings with experts, site visits and admissions, accommodations, specified meals, sightseeing, transportation within Latvia and guides-interpreters.

Истоки площади Роз уходят в 1911 - 1913 гг., когда на этом месте разбили открытый сад с > 500 кустами роз. В советское время рядом с площадью Роз был установлен памятник Ленину. Восстановленную в 2000 году площадь окружает Лиепайская Педагогическая академия, гостиница «Лива», Центр бизнеса и сделок De Rome (построен в XIX веке, архитектор Пауль Макс Берчи, бывшая гостиница «Рим») и Лиепайский дом латышского общества (камень в основание заложил Карлис Ульманис в 1934 г.). По бордюрам грядок роз размещены памятные знаки городов содружества Лиепаи. К площади Роз подходит улица Зивью (Рыбная), получившая свое название от когда-то существовавшего рыбного рынка. На улице Зивью находится Аллея славы латвийских музыкантов (с 2006 г.), где установлено 35 плит с бронзовым рельефом ладоней музыкантов, 10 плит, посвященные популярным латвийским музыкальным группам, а 5 – ушедшим в мир иной. Здесь же установлена самая большая гитара Латвии.

In dem Backprozess des Brotes von Lāči, das nicht nur in Lettland, sondern auch über die Grenze berühmt ist, werden seit langer Zeit gepflegte Meisterkenntnisse und Meisterfertigkeiten angewendet. Hier kann man Führungen bestellen, einen Brotlaib formen und backen, eine Mahlzeit in einem netten Wirtshaus zu sich nehmen und Produkte kaufen. The holiday houses are located near Lake Ieva, 30 m from the lake shore. On the 1st floor of the holiday house - lounge with fireplace and glazed veranda, sauna (50.00 EUR / evening), small kitchenette, toilet. Outside-small terrace overlooking the lake. On the 2nd floor there are 2 isolated rooms and 10 beds. By the lake - a fireplace, a well-groomed swimming area with a footbridge. Boats and catamarans can be rented.

Das Gebäude ist im zentralen Teil der Stadt Jēkabpils, in der A. Pormaļa Straße 11 zu suchen. Es ist im Jahr 1931 im Stil Klassizismus gebaut worden. Bis heute hat sich die originale Innenausstattung der Bank erhalten. Heute befindet sich hier die Niederlassung der Bank SEB banka.

Die Hausherren des Hofes Sonnentor sehen sich in der Tradition einer vorchristlichen Kultstätte und veranstalten Rituale im Einklang mit der jährlichen Entwicklung der Natur. Daneben gibt es Vorträge zur alten Religion der Balten. Kalenderfeste und Familienfeiern können hier abgehalten werden – Hochzeiten, Brautabende, Segnungen, Wintersonnenwende, Fastnacht. The local museum offers an interesting and extensive exhibit related to World War II at the Kurzeme fortress and the fate of Latvian soldiers who took part in the war. There are also exhibits related to the history of World War I and World War II, complete with a collection of civilian and military objects. Among them – a YI-2 airplane, an armoured personnel carrier, a Red Army tank, and all of the trenches and bunkers of the relevant era.
