Trips run by Mooska Farm are a wonderful chance to learn about the rich cultural heritage of Võru County, such as the smoke sauna, the tradition of smoking meat in sauna in winter or cooking it in a stone-lined hole in the ground. Scenic walks to Vällamägi hill teach you how people in this area perceive and communicate with the great outdoors; orienteering games, Nordic walking and snowshoeing tours are also on offer. The best size for a group is up to 12 persons. |

Igaunijas jūras ūdeņos ir saskaitīta 1521 sala! Salu sarakstā pēc platības (63 ha) ~ 2,5 km garā Mohni sala ieņem 38. vietu. Lai saudzētu salas trauslo veģetāciju (vietām nedaudz atgādina krūmainu tundru), tās vidusdaļā ir izveidotas koka laipas. Salas dienviddaļā atrodas sašaurinājums, kuru tāpat kā blakus esošo jūras krastu klāj viens no savdabīgākajiem Igaunijas akmeņu laukiem. Salas ziemeļos esošās Mohni bākas (Mohni tuletorn) celtniecība pabeigta 1871. g. un tās gaisma ir redzama 10 jūras jūdžu attālumā. Šī ir viena no skaistākajām Ziemeļigaunijas bākām! Līdz Mohni salai var nokļūt ar laivu (iepriekšēja pieteikšanās) no ~ 5 km attālās Vīnistu ostas (Viinistu sadam). Ar jūras laivu vai kajaku piemērotos apstākļos būs ~ 1h ilgs brauciens. Jārēķinās, ka uz salas nav pastāvīgo iedzīvotāju! Vīnistu ciemā apskatāms 2002. g. izveidotais Vīnistu mākslas muzejs (Viinistu kunstimuuseum). Apmeklētājus iespaidos ne tikai tā āriene, bet arī tapšanas vēsture. |

Technological processes are observed and improved during the manufacturing process so that the product retains its value in terms of taste and nutrition. Tourists are welcome, and tastings are available. This is one of five companies in Latvia that can produce “Summer Solstice” cheese as an EU guaranteed traditional product. The company’s products also have the “Green Teaspoon” quality mark. |

In Soviet years, Ventspils was the site of tank training. The facility has been degraded, and only the former tank repair facility and some outbuildings are still being used. The rest of the territory is not used or guarded any more.

Near Karva along the old Alūksne-Ape road, the monument was unveiled on November 12, 1937. It was designed by the architect Verners Vitands and contains the text “Soldiers from the Valmiera Brigade who fell during Latvia’s liberation battles in 1919; I rested my head on the moss and defended my fatherland.” The monument was torn down in 1975 and restored in 1944. |

Z / S "Kaņepītes" is a family company founded in 1992. The farm takes its name from the name of the house given to it in 1924. Organic farm where cereals are grown and processed into food. The production of the products is small, but the technique has an ancient atmosphere, a stone, wooden mill that gives a special taste and aroma to flour and oatmeal. Now the assortment already has 30 different product types. |

Cultural space of Kihnu (www.kultuuriruum.ee) is incorporated in the UNESCO list of Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, and is a quaint mix of old and modern. The local history museum displays tools, clothes, handicraft and furniture. |

Found on the right bank of the Daugava, approximately half a kilometre upriver from the Skrīveri Agricultural Institute, the hill is in a place where the bank of the Daugava River Valley is split by the deep Ašķere stream valley. The castle hill was occupied beginning in the first millennium BC, with antiquities from the Lettigalian and Livonian tribes found there. During the 13th century, a brick castle was built on the hill, but it was sacked during the 17th century. Nothing remains of the castle. The castle hill is also known as Raven Hills, and it offers one of the most beautiful views of the central part of the Daugava. In the direction of Rīga, there is a field with a white cross that represents an ancient church. There is a hiking trail along the Ašķere stream. The area is well improved with four trails. The longest is the Daugava trail (10 km). |

One of the most interesting objects in Bigauņciems, the road begins at the seashore, crosses the Vecslocene River (there is no bridge, but hikers and bikers can get across it), and then continues as a forest road to Lake Melnezers. |

At the estuary of the Inčupe River, there is the White Dune, which is around 18 metres high and is the most lovely element of the Vidzeme shoreline among those that have been created by the wind, sand and sea. There is a wooden footpath (the Saulriets trail) which is meant to view, but also protect the dune. It has a viewing area, too. The territory to the south of the river is in the Piejūra Nature Park.
