	By Daugava river	The “Pie Daugavas” glamping site is on land which has been passed down from generation to generation on the banks of the Daugava River and on the boundary between Jaunjelgava and Sērene. There are eight furnished glamping tents to rest in comfort on the banks of the river. The tents are 5m wide and 3m high, with carpeting to soothe your feet, a comfortable mattress that will ensure comfort for your back, as well as an easy chair into which you can sink with a book in hand. Electricity and WIFI will keep you linked to the outer world. You can reserve a Latvian-made jacuzzi with a wood-fired internal stove and installed hydro-massage and LED lighting. A spherical cupola tent with 65 m2 is also available. A new aspect at the tent in the summer of 2023 was a series of concerts on the banks of the Daugava.
	Strautmali - Camping	This is a place for leisure in Mazirbe along the Livonian shore. It is part of the Slītere National Park, and the venue welcomes solo travellers, families and groups of friends. There are six buildings which can accommodate up to 50 people – rooms for one, two or three visitors, as well as one room for 12 visitors. A new service building has a lavatory, shower and kitchen. Sauna services are available. Strautmaļi also has a banquet hall with a fireplace, an amazing collection of teaspoons, a library of books for all tastes, as well as beautiful paintings. The centre of Mazirbe is 3 km away, the sea is 2 km away. Silence, a pine forest, mushrooms, cranes. The venue is open from May 20 until September 3. The price is EUR 40 per night for two people.
	Baking carrot buns "Usi"	The farm is located in the north-west of Latvia, which was historically inhabited by Livonians and, nowadays, is often called the Livonian coast. Farm is one of the first homes in Kolka, 1.2 km from Kolkasrags, the furthest northern point of Courland separating the Baltic Sea from the Gulf of Riga. The owner of the farm demonstrates the way in which the traditional Northern Kurzeme dessert that is a carrot bun and is known as a "sklandrausis" is prepared. Sklandrausis is registered in the EU food quality scheme as a product with traditional speciality guaranteed. Hikers can take a tour to see the industrial history of Kolka, complete with theatrical elements and tasting of Latvia’s best sprats. Latvian cuisine: Porridge with fried onions and meat, kefir, herbal teas. Special foods: Carrot buns.
	Kolekcijas darzs "ROZITES"	The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares. There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties. There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden. Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation. You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music. On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water. Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them. You can purchase rose and perennial plants. Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike. Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals. We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions. The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom. 	Murbudu Sidrs Cidery	As the owners say, Mūrbūdu Cider is an Abnormal Cider - here are no traditions, and creativity knows no bounds. Our Story The cidery is located in an ancient stone building in Valka region, next to the ruins of an old Livonian Order castle. Apples Mūrbūdu Cider always strives to do something new and unprecedented, using fruit and berries that are locally sourced from the surrounding area as much as possible. Ciders Experiments with flavours (honey, berries, ginger, and spices) and cider-making methods (aging in oak bourbon barrels, malolactic acid fermentation, fermentation with beer yeast) result in a diverse range of ciders, allowing for the discovery of new and exciting flavours and cider styles. Not all experiments are successful, but the best ones always reach the customers. For Visitors The cidery offers tours with tastings and themed masterclasses led by the owner, as well as the option to create custom programmes. 	Lauku maja "Punas"	The countryside house offers a comfortable and cozy environment for relaxation close to nature. The house features a spacious bedroom with a large king-size bed and a pull-out chair, providing a comfortable stay for guests. There is both a shower and a bathtub available, as well as a large kitchen equipped with everything necessary for cooking. The bedroom has a fireplace that creates a particularly cozy atmosphere on cooler evenings. The outdoor area includes several terraces where guests can grill or set up a table for a meal in the fresh air. Approximately 100 meters away is a two-story sauna house. The ground floor includes a sauna, a small kitchenette with a sink, and a washing area with a shower and toilet. The second floor offers sleeping accommodations for six people and a TV for relaxation. Near the sauna house, there is a pond where guests can swim.
	The Indani farm	Adults and children will be able to learn about farm animals, view a collection of ancient tools, enjoy a country sauna with birch and juniper switches, drink herbal tea with honey, and taste carrot buns. During the summer, accommodations are offered in the granary or on the second level of the sauna.
	Bungalow Niedras	Bungalow Niedras is located in Jūrmala, 1.9 km from Jūrmala Beach. It offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children’s playground, free bicycles and free private parking. The property has a sauna. There is also a fridge, microwave and kettle, barbecue. You can go skiing and hiking in the area. The cosily furnished bungalow allows you to enjoy both the first and the last rays of the sun and the starry sky, as its roof is partially covered with a durable, transparent film. The room has everything you need to make your stay a pleasant one. The bungalow has a toilet and a shower a few steps from the cottage. There are two bungalows, one with a view of the garden with a double bed and the other with a view of the river with two single beds.
	Herbal teas and honey TURAIDAS	This farm produces herbal teas and satchels of tea from lemon balm, raspberries, tansy, lady's mantles, plantago and linden blossoms as souvenirs and gifts, as well as honey from local hives. The lady of the house will be happy to tell you about life in the countryside and take you on an educational tour featuring medicinal plants, beekeeping and fence buildings. She will also offer tastings of products from the farm. It has a biological farming certificate, so much attention is focused on the popularisation of a healthy lifestyle. Clients can purchase teas made of raspberries, blackberries, linden blossoms, meadowsweet, yarrow, birch leaves, white nettles, etc.
	The IKS Park	The IKS Park organisation offers rural joy, playing around and relaxing at the edge of a forest. Visitors can engage in crafts, learn about medicinal plants from Latvia in an interactive way and also learn about the properties of same. There are two different territories. One is an open-air exhibition of medicinal plants, with six beds of various plants. Visitors are invited to stroll through the garden and learn about plants that might be useful and appropriate for them. There is also room for mini-football, a barefoot trail, an “ant trail” that is a relay race with various steps, a pergola and a class to teach about nature. Second, there is a small farm with workshops and a mini zoo. Under a large canopy or in a cosy fireplace hall, visitors can try their hand at traditional and modern Latvian crafts. There is also a chance to play various games, some of which are quite ancient, indeed. Master craftsmen at the farm offer practical activities that allow visitors to produce their own souvenirs. Class topics include weaving of blankets from plants, jewellery making, soap making, grinding of flour, etc.
	Hostelis "Sili"	Hostel "Sili" is located near Jelgava, in Mežciems. It has 19 rooms, as well as a conference and event hall, fully equipped kitchens with all the necessary equipment and utensils for cooking (ceramic hob, refrigerator, kettle, microwave, pots, pans and kitchen utensils). New and pleasant shared toilets and showers are available on each floor. Room cleaning and a bed linen set are included in the price. Also accessible for disabled guests - there is a specially equipped room as well as facilities. Guests have free parking at the hostel. It is possible to organize business parties, weddings, birthdays and other events in the banquet hall, which can take up to 60 guests. There is a TOP shop next to the Sili Hostel, as well as a bus stop. The center of Jelgava can be easily reached by bus in about 15 minutes. on the trip. 	Fish products REINA ZIVIS	On the west coast of the Gulf of Riga, in the Lapmezciems municipality, there is a family-owned company "Reinis-B" specializing in the production of hot smoked fish products. Reinis-B specializes in the production of smoked fish products, using only natural alder wood during the smoking process. Offering both local and overseas fish, prepared after a variety of smoked recipes and traditions. You can buy Reinis-B products in several places in Latvia: Ragaciema Fish Market, various fairs and exhibitions. In cooperation with the market of Mara, depending on the date, products can be bought in Salaspils, Bauska, Dobele, Jelgava, Kauguri and Riga's "Rimi" squares. Reinis-B organizes tastings for tourists (not less than 10 people) on Thursdays, which allows you to witness the whole production process with your own eyes and taste all the products of the company. The excursion lasts for an hour. Due to the great interest of tourists, it is important to agree on a visit by prior call.
	Pienjani Cidery	The only organically certified cider in Latvia. Our Story The fruit farm was established in 2009 with the aim of creating an orchard of cider apple varieties for the owner’s enjoyment and producing cider. Since 2021, they have been producing, testing, and exploring various cider flavours. Apples The farm boasts the largest organic apple orchard in Latvia, covering nearly 40 hectares, where various apple varieties are grown, including 'Monta', 'Dace', 'Auksis', 'Gita', 'Edīte', and other popular varieties. The orchard also features several apple varieties specifically for cider production. They collaborate with The Horticultural and Experimental Station at Pūre and the Horticulture Institute at Dobele. Ciders The Pienjāņi cider brand Jēpis is the only organically certified cider in Latvia. They also offer fresh apples and apple juice under the Jēpis label. For Visitors The cidery welcomes experience exchange groups by prior arrangement. Where to Buy The Jēpis ciders are available at markets and specialized stores.
	Muuski Glamping	Guests have access to three two-person glamping tents in a unique place in the Veclaicene Parish, which is right by the border between Latvia and Estonia. The tents are well-equipped with a hardwood bed with a comfortable mattress, two pillows, two large blankets, bed linens, two towels, two duvets, a chest for visitors’ things, two easy chairs on a terrace, and a little table with a bench. Each tent is hooked up to electricity, with available plugs and lights. The territory has a common-use summer kitchen with three lavatories. Spend some time glamping, and you’ll feel the healing power of nature, relax from your everyday rhythm, watch the country landscape, enjoy yourself and your partner or friend. You can go for walks, rent bikes, swim in the pond, sunbathe, enjoy a jacuzzi, grill, and read books from the Muuski community library.
	Pub MEKE	Opened on June 21, 2011, at the 51st kilometre of the Tallinn-Riga highway, the MEKE KROGS pub is a typical example of the roadside pubs which used to be built along the sides of roads and near homesteads, castles, mills and windmills. This particular one is located into renovated cattle shed that is more than 100 years old – a lovely log building that is named after the former baron of the local estate, von Mecke. Alongside it is the handsome parish building which was erected in 1907 with red bricks from Tūja. Latvian cuisine: Sorrel stew with grits, cold soup, pounded beef, mutton and vegetable stew, grits with smoked meat and mushrooms, herring with cottage cheese, bread soup. Special foods: Porridge with bacon bits and Meke spicy sausages.
	Zilu Peonijas	Zīļu peonijas is a farm where you can get a true sense of how many different types of peonies there are in the world. The garden has more than 800 different kinds, and they will surprise you with their diversity of form and colour. Each visitor will find one which best corresponds to his or her tastes. Flowers are sold to be taken home. The garden is in the Slampe Parish of the Tukums Administrative District.
	The “Kucuru dzirnavas” guesthouse	The windmill building (1875) is now a museum and offers well known wedding traditions. Guests can catch fish in the local pond and then cook them. Latvian cuisine: Sautéed cabbage, pork ribs, homemade steak haché, onion rings, Kučuri tortes, natural juices, berry beverages. Special foods: “Kučuri rescue soup” – solyanka for hangovers.
	Abava Winery	Abavas Winery, located near Tukums, invites you to taste Latvian fruit and berry wines, ciders, a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, as well as spirits. History The inspiration to establish the winery came to the owners during their honeymoon trip, when they visited some of Europe’s oldest wineries. Over the years, it has grown into the largest and most renowned winery in Latvia. Grapes Near Sabile, the winery cultivates a 4-hectare vineyard – the largest commercial vineyard in Latvia and one of the northernmost in the world. The harvested grapes are used to produce award-winning wines. Apples At the 4-hectare apple orchard next to the winery in Tukums grow apple trees that were planted during Soviet times and represent the industrial varieties of that period. Meanwhile, a certified organic apple orchard has been established near Sabile. From the harvest, excellent and award-winning alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are crafted. For Visitors The owners warmly invite guests to visit the winery, learn its story, and enjoy a tasting of various drinks. For groups, snack platters can be pre-ordered. The winery also offers spaces for events – seminars, parties, and corporate gatherings. 	SKRUNDA MANOR restaurant	Skrunda Manor is located on the bank of the River Venta, on the side of the Riga-Liepāja highway. The manor restaurant uses products grown in Latvia and produced by local farmers, offering its guests to taste original local dishes, such as carp croquettes with homemade rhubarb mayonnaise, pork belly with birch leaf syrup and celery, and a selection of ice cream made in the manor.
	"Arpus laika"	The name of the house is ‘Ārpus Laika’ and it means ‘Beyond Time’. The family has created a landscape park and they practice green living in a dome house designed by themselves. The family also manufactures garden furniture and hammocks. The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful park and a pond full of frogs and fishes. The surrounding landscape of the park with a pergola, a bridge, a forest and fields creates a very tranquil countryside atmosphere that can be experienced just a short drive away from the capital city. The hostess makes wines and offers tasting of different sorts. She also demonstrates cooking of traditional Latvian desserts. The place is also popular for weddings and post-wedding photo sessions.
