How the Cheese is Made
The farm has a modern milking parlour equipped with a ramp and milking machines for 12 goats. Immediately after milking, the milk is transferred to a cooling tank and rapidly chilled, helping to preserve its quality and freshness and giving the cheeses their distinctive flavour. Production is seasonal, reflecting the natural cycle of goat’s milk production.

For Visitors
Līcīši welcomes families, school groups and organised tours. Visitors can meet more than 70 goats and kids, as well as chickens and a Latvian Blue cow. The goat’s milk processing facility can be viewed from outside.
Tastings include goat’s milk, kefir and a selection of cheeses, with the opportunity to buy products made on the premises. Consultations, cheesemaking workshops and other events can also be arranged.
Guests can make use of a picnic area, camping pitches and a small sauna.
