Arrival in Valmiera. Sightseeing in Valmiera in the morning.

- Road surface: Forest trails and small forest roads, gravel roads, paved roads and pavements in populated areas.
- Good to know! It is possible to organise a transfer back to Valmiera after hiking.
- Accommodation: in camping “Jaunarāji” or Baiļi, or in Valmiera.

Day 2 “Jaunarāji” – Brenguļi – Strenči

- Danger points: The banks of the River Abuls may be slippery in wet weather. Slopes tend to be extremely steep on the Abuls Nature Trail.
