On June 1 and 2, 2019, the first Home Cafe Days in Latvia will be held on the Livonian Coast and in the Dundaga region, simultaneously with the Slītere Travelers' Days .

On June 1 and 2, 22 special home cafes will be waiting for visitors on the Livonian Coast , which will open their doors to their guests only on these days. In general, there will be a diverse offer of food and drinks - made from local products, with special stories and demonstrations of craft skills. There will be both masterclasses of popular local dishes and the use of recipes from grandmothers and manor-time treasure chests. It will be like a garden festival throughout the Dundaga region and the Livonian Coast, where every traveler will be able to participate and enjoy the diversity of food. Home Cafe Days will be held in Latvia for the first time. The idea was borrowed from Estonia, where this event has been organized for several years.
