From the inner courtyard there is a forest, from which, walking along a relief, nature-created and well-groomed path, you will reach the bank of the river Gauja in 15 minutes.

Die einzige Insel im Cicere – See hat einen mehr oder weniger unberührten Wald mit Eichen, Linden und Ulmen. Einige der Eichen sind riesig. Das ist ein wichtiger Biotop für spechtartige Vögel. Die Insel ist nicht verändert worden.

Das Museum wurde 1991 gegründet. Im Geburtshof von S. Darius wurden Haus und Speicher der Eltern wiederaufgebaut. In beiden Gebäuden gibt es jetzt Ausstellungen. In einem erzählt die Ausstellung über die Geschichte der Luftfahrt in Litauen und das Leben von Darius, während die andere Ausstellung dem traditionellen niederlitauischen Haushalt gewidmet ist. Neben dem Museum gibt es einen Campingplatz, wo man sich erholen und auch für längere Zeit niederlassen kann.

In the workshop it is possible to learn about the process of creating and the usage of pottery of different historic periods, as well as other household goods. Archaeological pottery is presented. The Middle Ages man-carried clay bread oven, frying-pan, drinking cups, the pilgrims’ water bowls. All the works are handmade in the moulded ceramics style and burned in the clay kiln.

In the 19th century at the seaside of Skulte, a small village formed, which was inhabited by fishermen. The name “Zvejniekciems” (Fishermen’s village) arose from the population's main activity. In 1967 the Skulte part of Zvejniekciems was added to the Saulkrasti township. Nowadays Zvejniekciems is the home of Skulte Port, and the rocky beach of Zvejniekciems is located between the port and Saulkrasti Beach, while the village itself can be proud of the creative heritage left by the architect Marta Staņa (1913–1972).
