“We educate, create feelings and inspire people.” Those are the key concepts of the “Mūsu avenes” raspberry farm. The farm specialises in summer and autumn raspberries, but it also grows quince, honeysuckle, mulberry, rhubarb and various seasonal vegetables. Owners of the farm began to offer informative and interactive tours in 2023. Learn how the farm is run, what it bases its work on, and how it ensures bio-economics and a circulation economy. You’ll also learn details about how to grow and pick raspberries. A special mood is created by a cupola tent at the farm which offers visitors a chance to enjoy and unrivalled surrounding landscape. The watermill of the Krape Estate is found on the Lobe River in the Ogre Administrative District. Owners offer tours of the mill so that you can learn how the old mill operates. You can stroll along the banks of the river or learn about plants in the meadow. There are places for tenting, but the main operation here is the production of elixirs from meadow plants, production of soy wax candles, production of etheric oils and hydrolats, a well as growing trout and African catfish that can be viewed during the season. A new thing is SPA services with floating, a halotherapy salt beach and an aromatherapy steam system. Floating is a unique way to boost your health. You’ll be dipped into a warm magnesium salt solution, which will allow your body to relax completely in physical, emotional and intellectual terms. The solution (MgSO4) is very concentrated, and it has a temperature of +37C, which is body temperature. That’s what makes the procedure so relaxing. Your body will not sink because of the concentration of salt, and you will float above it like bobber. You will relax all of your tendons and possibly compressed nerves. Your limbs will “oil up.” Your body will receive a very necessary dose of magnesium through your skin. You can also take part in baking KrapesKrepes crepes – home baked crepes made of milk from one neighbouring homestead and eggs from another neighbouring homestead. Die Wassermühle wurde in den 1930er Jahren erneuert und im Jahr 1992 begann sie ihre Tätigkeit. Hier kann man das historische Getriebe der Mühle besichtigen und den Mahlprozess beobachten. DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre. There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes. DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats. The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren. Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement). Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months. It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives. The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose. We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.

About 20 minutes by car from Sigulda, this is a venue that offers you a chance to go fishing in a pond that covers 3 ha and offers every opportunity for relaxation. You can rent a boat, and during the winter you can go ice fishing. Next to the pond is a two-story house with a kitchen and an opportunity to spend the night as long as you bring your own mattress. There are three rooms on the lower and three on the higher floor of the building. Next to the house is a lean-to, and there is a pergola not far from the pond. The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares. There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties. There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden. Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation. You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music. On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water. Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them. You can purchase rose and perennial plants. Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike. Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals. We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions. The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom. By the beekeeping farm “Kalniņi” there is a Bee Hut – small wooden house in which you can feel the presence of bees. The hives with seven bee families are built-in the sides of the Bee Hut, but inside the building they are designed as beds or seats. When looking at the building from the outside you can see the bee runs and also bees themselves. In addition, “Kalniņi” also offer different types of bee products – honey, pollen bread, beautiful and aromatic wax candles. It is possible to taste beekeeping products and enjoy a cap of warm tea. Families with kids can participate in educational workshops, learn how to make wax candles and gain information about the daily life in the beekeeping farm. Since summer 2018 everyone can also visit the House of Crafts, where you can participate in different activities such as Encaustic painting (also known as hot wax painting), create wooden souvenirs with burnt folk signs as well as create wax candles etc. The House of Crafts offers different itineraries for grownups, kids, youngsters and newlyweds. There you can also purchase the offered products - various flower honey, pollen, pollen bread, propolis, cell honey and wax candles. |

The pond covers 2.3 ha, and its average depth is 4m. Since 2013, it has been home to carps, tench, catfish, crucian, pike, roach, perch and other types of fish. There are also two kinds of crabs in the pond. The territory offers not just the joy of fishing, but also relaxation for the whole family. Room for tents and picnics, a special swimming area, lavatory facilities and various attractions. You can rent fishing poles, crabbing baskets and boats, and you can buy everything that you will need for a lovely picnic. |

Das Restaurant befindet sich am Ufer des Sees Valgums, an einem historischen Ort, wo sich am Ende der 1960er Jahre ein führender Militärstützpunkt der UdSSR befand. In 2015 owners of ''Zeltlejas'' started to develop the first sea buckthorn plantations, but in 2018 the area where the sea buckthorn is grown for berry extraction was 24 hectares. Only one breed of sea buckthorn trees with high oil and carotenoid content is grown in the garden. But strawberries are grown in the greenhouses, that's why they are ripen already in the spring. Various events on different topics like healthy eating, cooking, gardening are also organized. |
