Work on the project "Silver Travellers" will end soon

05/28/2021

The work on the project "Silver Travellers" will end soon. The project aims to close an existing gap in the provision of modern technology learning in the rural tourism sector facing new market challenges.

Partners were working hard together to create training material to help rural tourism companies, as well as teachers and students in this field to gain more knowledge and skills to better attract the growing segment of rural tourism – senior tourists. After it was completed, a pilot test was conducted with more than 80 participants. They appreciated that the training material is a great help in the field of tourism and contribute to both personal and professional growth. The participants also acknowledged that the training format is convenient for the 21st century.

As no changes or improvements are needed, partners can start translation of training material. At the end of the project, it will be available in all partner languages: German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish and Latvian, as well as in English. The material will be freely available on a convenient online platform for everyone.
