“Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins. There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes. There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends. A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river. It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people. There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them. There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well. There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower. Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine. SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table. |

The name of the house is ‘Ārpus Laika’ and it means ‘Beyond Time’. The family has created a landscape park and they practice green living in a dome house designed by themselves. The family also manufactures garden furniture and hammocks. The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful park and a pond full of frogs and fishes. The surrounding landscape of the park with a pergola, a bridge, a forest and fields creates a very tranquil countryside atmosphere that can be experienced just a short drive away from the capital city. The hostess makes wines and offers tasting of different sorts. She also demonstrates cooking of traditional Latvian desserts. The place is also popular for weddings and post-wedding photo sessions. |

The “Baldone Sauna for Friends” weekend house offers families, couples, good friends and small groups rooms for leisure amidst a mighty forest of beautiful fir and pine trees during the summer and the winter. Fans of sauna rituals can enjoy a sauna according to the Latvian style, with aromatic herbal teas, a salt or coffee scrub, and a bucket of cold water for contrast. Outside is a tub of hot water for leisure and conversations during which the tops of the pine trees, the moon and the stars can be watched. Guests have access to a large living room with a fireplace and a well-appointed kitchenette. There are four bedrooms – a yellow one with six single beds and a double bed, a lavatory and a shower; as well as violet, reddish and green rooms with double beds that share a lavatory and a shower. There is room for as many as 18 people in all. |

The “Celmiņi” weekend house is found in a quiet and forested location in the Kūkas Parish of the Krustpils Administrative District. Guests can enjoy active leisure or relaxation that are provided by the surrounding environment. The venue has three types of saunas – a wet sauna, a steam or Turkish sauna, and a traditional Latvian sauna. There is a vat of water outside the sauna, and there is also relaxation in a bee healing process (a seasonal offer). There is a house with four bedrooms (up to 15 people), as well as two small huts where two people can stay. During the summer, there are another four camping huts for two persons. The venue can host parties up to 35 people, while the sauna building will accommodate up to 12 individuals. Depending on the season, there can be archery, paintball, creative workshops, soup cooked on a campfire, as well as educational activities for children. |

Guests have access to three two-person glamping tents in a unique place in the Veclaicene Parish, which is right by the border between Latvia and Estonia. The tents are well-equipped with a hardwood bed with a comfortable mattress, two pillows, two large blankets, bed linens, two towels, two duvets, a chest for visitors’ things, two easy chairs on a terrace, and a little table with a bench. Each tent is hooked up to electricity, with available plugs and lights. The territory has a common-use summer kitchen with three lavatories. Spend some time glamping, and you’ll feel the healing power of nature, relax from your everyday rhythm, watch the country landscape, enjoy yourself and your partner or friend. The recreation complex "Pazust Priedēs" is a newly created recreation area in the village of Bernāti - a 7-minute walk from the beach. Two holiday homes are available for recreation - "Saulrieta" and "Saullēta" houses and a separate bathhouse. Each holiday home has a separate bedroom, an equipped kitchen and a loft floor with additional sleeping places. The recreation complex can accommodate up to 12 people in total. Picnic areas are available near each house and in the territory. SPA services are offered with sauna sessions and a selection of essential oils, with mental health improvement options and meditative tools. An outdoor hot tub is available. Retreats are organized during the summer season, and meditative/exploratory books are available in each house. |

There are several trails and forest paths in the Slītere National Park for walks. The nearest shop is 2 km away in the village of Mazirbe. The campsite is open from June 1 to August 31. |

The flats of Saules Kvartāls (Block of Sun) are found in the city centre and at a 15-minute walk from the Ventspils Olympics Centre and the skateboard park, 10 minutes from the Reņķa garden, 15 minutes from a children’s playground and other tourist destinations. The nearest store is just 100 metres away. There are three types of rooms at Saules Kvartāls – a studio flat for a family, a small room for two, and a two-room studio type flat. All of the apartments have a television set and WIFI, as well as a small kitchen where you can boil water in a kettle. There is also a stove along with kitchen equipment and utensils. All guests have a common use grill with the necessary equipment to use free of charge. There are also garden furnishings, a trampoline for the kids, and a sauna. |
