Atrodas Grobiņas centrā, Dzērves laukuma malā. Pirmā baznīca Grobiņa bija celta jau ap 1560. g., bet nākamā – 1596. g. celtā iznīcināta 1659. g. zviedru iebrukuma laikā. Pēc Kurzemes un Zemgales hercoga Jēkaba Ketlera iniciatīvas 1664. g. tiek uzcelts jauns dievnams, ko atjauno 1892. gadā. Tas dedzis 2. pasaules kara laikā, bet vēlāk atkal atjaunots. Šobrīd notiek altāra restaurācijas darbi.

Seinen Namen erhielt das quadratische Bauwerk mit den 2 Meter dicken Mauern in der Zeit Herzog Jakobs, denn hier wurde Schießpulver gelagert. Möglicherweise befand sich dort das Brunnenhäuschen, denn das Grundwasser reicht an dieser Stelle sehr nahe an die Oberfläche. Den Pulverturm verband eine 12 m lange Brücke auf einem einzigen Pfeiler mit dem Vogtgang des Schlosses.Heute ist der Turm nur von außen zu besichtigen.

Eine von der visuell ausgeprägtesten Batterien der Küstenwache. Warum? Die Positionen der Batterie und die einzelnen Elemente sind ganz oder teilweise im Meer eingespült worden und dabei entsteht eine nicht für Meeresküste Lettlands charakteristische Ansicht. Sie sind besonders beeindrucksvoll in der Zeit der Stürme. Leider ist dieses historisches Denkmal den mächtigen Vorgängen der Naturkräfte ausgesetzt. Die Batterie kann man auch von der nördischen Mole von Liepāja sehen. Es lohnt sich die 4 km lange Strecke entlang der Meeresküste bis zu den nördischen Befestigungswerke zu Fuß zu gehen. Bei der Gelegenheit kann man auch die Positionen der Küstenschützbatterie 23 besichtigen.

Dieses Dorf ist eines von den zwei Fischerdörfern in Lettland, das bis heute (soweit es möglich war) seine authentische Atmosphäre erhalten hat. Hier befindet sich eine Niederlassung des Ethnographischen Freilichtmuseums Lettlands mit dem Fischerhof Vītolnieki. Zurzeit werden in dem Dorf moderne Häuser gebaut, darum verliert es mit jedem Tag seine Unberührtheit.

Reinis Kaudzīte, co-author of the first Latvian novel “Times of the Land-Surveyors” (“Mērnieku laiki”) stayed in Pēterupe Village from 1913. 
In 1913 R. Kaudzīte bought a small property (currently No. 17 School Street), where he spent the last years of his life along with the lady of the house Karlīna Damroze. After the death of R. Kaudzīte, Karlīne – the well-known and respected midwife – continued to run the household. During Soviet times, the house was converted into a residential building. The neighbouring garden-house also acquired the status of a one-room flat, which in 11 August 1991 was turned into the Public Museum of Saulkrasti History. In 2008 the basic idea of the museum was changed and the house underwent redecoration. Now the museum is dedicated to the life of Reinis Kaudzīte in Pēterupe. The exhibition consists of furniture, crockery, household items, tools, photographs and other items of the early 20th century contributed by Saulkrasti residents. 
“Neighbour’s bench” and a signpost with references to places where the writer once travelled to are located in the garden by the building.

Im Minzehäuschen hat man die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Minzetees, Kekse, Meringues, Honig mit Minze und Minzesirup auszuprobieren. In kreativen Workshops wird Pfefferminzseife hergestellt, bemalte Teller, Kerzen mit Decoupage und viele andere Dinge. Die Hausherrin stellt aus Minze Mehl und Gesichtstonic her.

Dievnama tornis tapa laikā no 1686. g. – 1688. g., bet 1862. g. to paaugstināja līdz 80,5 m. Baznīca nodega padomju aviācijas uzlidojuma laikā 1944. g. 27. jūlijā. 1954. g. Padomju armijas sapieri uzspridzināja ēkas atliekas. 2009. g. sākās baznīcas torņa rekonstrukcija un šobrīd tajā izveidots izcils interaktīvais muzejs (īpaši draudzīgs bērniem) un stiklota skatu platforma.

Very wide territory for a nature restricted area where extensive forests and several bogs can be found. The territory is important living space for many bird species. Vasenieku bog path with observation tower is the most attractive sites of the restricted area and offers unique landscape of the bog for its visitors. Waterproof shoes are recommended for visitors as the first 500 m of the path is molded turf rampart. Information stands are significant source of information along the path. It is suggested to visit also Stikli (Glass) village where glass factory used to be. Chandelier of Stende church has been made in this factory (by memory of Inese Roze).
