The White Dune is one of the landmarks of Saulkrasti, on the Vidzeme gulf coast. The dune offers a splendid view of the sea, the mouth of the Inčupe River and the vast beach. The White Dune formed as the wind drove beach sand over the clay silt of Baltic Ice Lake. Its white 18 meters high sand outcrop once helped local fishermen find their way home. The dune got its name from its white, hardened layers of sand which look like sandstone.
In White Dune are set up following Nature Design objects: "Entrance gates" which symbolizes White Dune and its fragility. On the wall of this object an information about White Dune are exposed. "Frīda the Hedgehog" and "Fredis the Rabbit"- both objects invite people to be polite when visiting nature sites and not to throw rubbish on the ground as well as to be quiet in the forest. "The bug trail" which helps to understand that humans are not the only one creatures in the nature. "Listening device" which is made in the form of trumpet and helps to listen into the sounds of sea and wind. The approximately 4 kilometers long Sunset Trail winds from the White Dune to the center of Saulkrasti.

The stadium was opened in 1938 and has been rebuilt several times since then.  Outside the stadium is a memorial stone to honour of Jānis Dāliņš (1904-1978), who set several world records in race walking.  He won a silver medal at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1932.  The first Three Star Olympiad was held in the stadium in 1993.  The stadium is of national importance as an athletics stadium that hosts international competitions and various athletic activities.  It is known as the most youth-friendly facility of its type.

This section of the Forest Trail leads through the entire Gauja National Park and gives an opportunity to see all the most beautiful places and sights of this national park of more than 100 km. Gauja National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Latvia. The ancient valley of the River Gauja is the deepest river valley in the Baltic states. The banks of the River Gauja reveal colourful sandstone outcrops, which are reflected in the water. The sights are most wonderful in springtime, when bird cherry trees are in full bloom, and in autumn, as the trees turn red and yellow. The ancient valley of the River Gauja has a distinctive terrain relief that can fluctuate by up to 80 m. The largest part of the road leads through forest paths, along the river, and exits the woods in Līgatne and Sigulda.

Almost half of the park is covered by forest. Gauja National Park is known for the great diversity of specially protected forests, featuring herbaceous spruce forests, slope and ravine forests, as well as mixed broadleaf forests.

Padomju armijas sapieri uzspridzināja ēkas atliekas. 2009. g. sākās baznīcas torņa rekonstrukcija un šobrīd tajā izveidots izcils interaktīvais muzejs (īpaši draudzīgs bērniem) un stiklota skatu platforma.

Zosna (Veczosna) Manor. The building is surrounded by a small park near the bank of Lake Rāzna. There are 39 different species of trees and bushes. It was built in 1870 by the order of duke Goļicins. It is one of the rare truss buildings in Latgale.

The owner has a collection of some 2,000 spoons which he has carved from 70 types of wood from trees and bushes during more than 30 years. The smallest spoon is made of osier, while the largest one, “A European Spoon,” is larger than the height of a human being. The artist also produces paintings made of wood. You will start your hike from the popular Latvian spa town of Jūrmala.  The route is great for those who like to hike along the coastline, with former fishing villages full of unique coastline charm, as well as lonely and seldom visited beaches.  Many villages have small smokehouses where dried fish can be bought.  Your destination is Cape Kolka, which the father of Latvia’s maritime school, Krišjānis Valdemārs, considered to be the centre of Europe.  The cape has been known as a very hazardous shipping route since the age of the Vikings.  Cape Kolka is also a fantastic place to watch birds.

This potter upholds pottery traditions from the village of Silajāņi. He produces glazed and unglazed products such as dishware, candelabras, etc. You will hear attractive stories about pottery, be allowed to knead some clay and work on the potter’s wheel, and be able to tour an exhibition hall with samples of the master’s work, as produced over the course of the years. From Vilnius the route goes to picturesque Trakai Castle surrounded by lake from which it continues to Dzūkija National Park. The park introduces with traditional Lithuanian way of living, closeness with forest as well as valuable natural resources.  Information centre and centre of etnoculture is located at Marcinkonys but Čepkelių raistas provides atmospheric vast bog landscape. Pleasant forest trails and quite roads are pleasant for cycling. Druskininkai is a historic spa resort with charming old town, many spa hotels, walking trails and entertainment facilities. There is the Grutos Park where monuments from Soviet area is collected in order to demonstrate the former oppressive ideology. From there the road heads to lively Kaunas which sits between two rivers -Nemunas and Neris. 
The route continues along the picturesque banks of the Nemuna river visiting small friendly villages along the way and passing Nemunas Delta Regional Park. The first Balts' tribes has arrived in Lithuania along the banks of Nemuna river leaving behind rich heritage and scenic castle mounds.
The route finishes at the port city Klaipēda which is Lithuanian gateway to Europe as well as nearby Curonian Spit.
