On 14 June 1991, this sign sculpted by Zezostrs Ķēde in memory of the repressions of 1941 and 1949 was unveiled in the garden of Pēterupe Church.

This is one of two sanatoriums in Jūrmala where mud from the surrounding area is used for medical procedures.  The Jūrmala Spa Museum of History was opened here in 2009, and it offers interesting information about the history of the spa and the sanatorium.  You will see historical photographs and medical equipment from the 1970s and 1980s.  Guides will tell you all kinds of interesting information.

"Piebalga medus" is located in Vecpiebalga region, turning off the highway Cēsis – Vecpiebalga – Madona (P30). Beekeeping, apitherapy and narration "About and around bees". Tasting and purchase of beekeeping products. A candlestick workshop is available for visitors. Especially with the fact that the apiary only with Latvian hives.

An important complex of the coastline and its sand dunes along with the mouths of three major rivers – the Lielupe, the Daugava and the Gauja. This area has ancient traditions of recreation and spa services. The territory has lovely shoreline landscapes and features one of the few coastline meadows in Latvia. The nature park includes several restricted areas – the meadows of the Lielupe estuary, Vakarbuļļi, Daugavgrīva, Vecdaugava and Ummis (see the section on “Restricted Natural Areas”). Interesting elements of nature in this area include the amphitheatre of the Garciems dunes, along with individual dunes such as the Legzdiņi dune and the so-called ski mountain dune. Visitors will be attracted by various cultural and historical monuments – fortifications on the Mangaļi peninsula, military buildings from the period of the Russian tsars all the way through the late period of the Soviet occupation, the fortress of Daugavgrīva, the Vecāķi spa with its old shoreline buildings, and the beaches at Daugavgrīva and Vecāķi. The proximity of the city of Rīga and various important recreational resources are the reason for the massive anthropogenic burden that is placed on this territory. The nature park is appropriate for active tourism (hiking, bicycling, boating, driving), distance skiing, nature and bird-watching, cultural tourism, passive leisure and educational tourism. There are nature trails at Daugavgrīva and the Rožu dunes, along with other elements of infrastructure.

Находятся в 7 км к северу из центра Вецпиебалги. Здесь представлены характерные для Пиебалгской деревни 19 в. аутентичные дворы крестьян и ремесленников со старинными орудиями труда и предметами быта, а также недавно восстановленная ветряная мельница.

В хозяйстве занимаются животноводством, выращиванием фруктов, овощеводством, производством и переработкой мяса и молока. Договорившись заранее, можно купить разную домашнюю продукцию, научиться вязать сыр, испечь свой хлеб по рецептам предков. Одно из хозяйств кулинарного наследия Латгалии.

Skaisto un mūsdienās atjaunoto zilā krāsojuma ēku Karaīmu ielas 5 malā sākotnēji (1810. g.) cēla Dominikāņu mūki. Kopš 1864. g. tajā 23 gadus saimniekoja policija, līdz 1887. g. te izvietoja pastu un telegrāfu. Šobrīd ēkā atrodas nacionālā parka administrācija.

Taka izveidota 2005. gadā. Tā atrodas uz Lapmežciema un Bigauņciema robežas un izskatās kā koka dēlīšu laipa gar Siliņupi. Taka aizved līdz jūrai, kur apskatāms vecais Lapmežciema mols. Siliņupē novērojami ūdensputni.

The "Jurmala" campsite is located in the park territory of the "Rīgas Līcis" sanatorium and offers facilitated tent, camper and caravan sites, as well as holiday homes for rent. The campsite is located next to the beach and is suitable for recreation with family and friends, as well as for organizing a variety of thematic and recreational events. The proximity to the "Dubulti" and "Jaundubulti" railway stations makes it easy to move around Jurmala or get to Riga. The campsite is also suitable for families with pets. 

Самый молодой национальный парк Латвии (2007 г.) находится в „Крае голубых озер” – в Латгальском крае. Одной из задач создания парка было сохранение самого полноводного Латвийского озера - Разнас, самого богатого островами озера – Эжезерс, и других водоемов, а также сохранение характерного для Латгалии холмистого пейзажа и культурно-исторической среды. В настоящее время одним из самых популярных объектов национального парка является Маконькалнс с прекрасным видом на озеро Разнас. В настоящее время в этом сравнительно молодом парке пока только планируется и производится его туристическое благоустройство - создание троп, маршрутов и т.д., поэтому желательно посещать уже законченные объекты.
