The restaurant is in the centre of Jelgava among residential buildings. It is known for its interesting interior and for the musical and other events that it organises. Special foods: “Kiss from Šarlote” – layered egg-cottage cheese crème and jellied juices. |

Information about this stream dates back to the mid-18th century, but people used it much earlier than that. People donated money to the stream after washing or drinking the water. During the first half of the 19th century, the baron of Tirza and the local church waged a battle against pagan traditions, though not very successfully. There is now a canopy over the stream, and people still drink its water. |

The boiler house of Karaosta has been used for decades to ensure heat for the city of Liepāja. Although it is part of the heating network, the facility is not guarded and has largely been abandoned.

The estate of 12 buildings and a park has survived almost completely to this very day. The main building of the estate was erected on a largish oval island in the 1840s, and it has a moat all around it. This was meant to resemble fortified Medieval castles. The mansion is currently home to the local parish government, library and post office. Visitors can take a tour of the estate and its surroundings. There are stories about the estate to say that the baron had a beautiful daughter who, like the Rose of Turaida, refused to obey her father's instructions. Latvia's first grape selector, Pauls Sukatnieks (1914-1989) lived at Apsītes. The house has been restored and contains household and farm equipment, as well as Sukatnieks' library and office. The garden that surrounds the house has local and introduced colourful plants and trees, including rare ones. Visitors can look at the types of grapes that Sukatnieks developed, as well as his vineyard. Alongside the homestead is an information stand about birdwatching in the Dviete wetlands. You can tour the garden and house in the company of a guide. There is space for relaxation and picnics, and the homestead organises work sessions and educational events. |

This is one of the few craftswomen in Latvia who does not use a potter’s wheel in her work. Instead she works in the “snail” or “sausage” technique that was typical of the Bronze Age. Her artworks are distinguished by a diversity of form and functionality. Children can attend master’s classes. You can take tours, take part in the opening of the kiln, and purchase fumigated ceramics products. |

A legendary location which is said to have
been the site of a lake which, in 1838, was poured into the sea. When the
water was gone, remnants of ancient tree stumps and ships were found at
the bottom of the lake.

This farm rears goats and produces various goat’s milk dairy products, making goat’s cheese and other products from fresh ingredients. The farm also grows potatoes, juicy strawberries and other products. The summer outhouse provides space for 15 to 20 people to sit cosily by the table and chat. One of the oldest botanical parks in Lithuania, this one was opened by Izidoras Navidanskas in 1928, when he was only 16. In 1965, the park because the Žemaitija botanical park, and Navidanskas and his son, Rapolas, who is the current owner, did a lot to expand it. |

Immaculate Conception of Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Nautrēni (Rogovka). The construction
works of the brick church lasted from 1901 till 1914. It is an example of Romantesque style. The
organ was bought in 1939; it is a national cultural monument.

The Lācīši farm can be found in the Galgauska Parish to the Southwest of Gulbene. One of the largest farms in Northeastern Vidzeme, it specialises in grain farming (577 ha), rapeseed farming (295 ha), and various grasses. It is also a dairy farm with some 100 cows to produce meat and breed calves. There is an interesting room for meetings and presentations, with large glass windows opening up to the cattle barn. The farm actively makes use of EU funding. Contact the farm in advance for tours and exchanges of experiences. |

This farm grows black currants, blackberries, raspberries, rowans, sea-buckthorn and other berries from which the owner produces homemade wine. The cellar of the castle of the former Order of Kuldīga (with room for up to 25 people) offers tastings of three different wines. Larger groups are welcome to the granary of the Padure Estate. |
