This garden on the banks of the Bērze River is known as a rock fairy tale and a miraculous garden.  The garden has rocks of various forms and sizes, including milling stones, distance markers and border posts related to parishes.  The exhibition is supplemented by decorative plants and compositions of plants that are the responsibility of the lady of the house.

The Plunge Estate is famous because its park, which is a mixed-type park that was established during the 18th and 19th century at a holy forest that used to be a sacrificial place.  The pride and joy of the park is the Thunder oak tree, a legendary weeping linden tree and an elm tree with five trunks.  The lord of the state ordered the digging of seven ponds with cascades.  These are linked by rock bridge sluices.  The Babrungo River, which flows alongside the estate offers an outstanding landscape for the park.

Mushrooming is one of the most popular autumn activities in Latvia. The tour is lead by a professional mycologist and combines the mysterious world of funghi with local historic heritage and mushroom preparation traditions. Mushrooming starts at one the most popular mushroom pickers' sites in the suburbs of Riga. Then it's on to try various locations in the mushrooming paradise of the Gauja National Park, walk nature trail along the Amata river and have a picnic at picturesque outcrop Zvārtes Rock. Further on, the route reaches charming Ungurmuiža Manor park with its ancient oak trees and some specific fungal species. Next the tour visits a shiitake mushroom grower and mysterious Zilaiskalns hill featuring a highland landscape as well as the flatlands of Lake Burtnieks. Zīle Forest is a rare European biotope with ancient oak forest and park type meadows while the natural coniferous forest at Mežole is one of the richest interms of biological diversity. Here you can find mushrooms which are indicators of natural forest. You also visit oyster mushroom growers along the route. Then it's Āraiši reconstructed Bronze Age settlement built on a lake where there are good examples of how mushrooms can damage and destroy man made objects. At one of the guest houses the chef will demonstrate how to cook your collected mushrooms the local way.

Farm is located ~1 km to the north of Puikule near to the former Limbazi railway, in the territory of North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve. The farm breeds sheep of the Latvian dark-head breed from which wool, hats, scarves, souvenirs etc. are made by felting. They can be purchased in the farm. Sheep graze in nearby meadows, thus promoting plant diversity in the area. About the role of pets in maintaining biodiversity can also be read on the bench in the yard. In the barn house is a collection of household items. Visitors can take a guided tour and buy souvenirs.

The highest and most beautiful wall of cliffs on Saaremaa Island (up to 21 m high), stretching along some 3 km. During strong winds from the W or NW, a part of the cliff is washed by the waves of the sea. From Vilnius the route goes to picturesque Trakai Castle surrounded by lake from which it continues to Dzūkija National Park. The park introduces with traditional Lithuanian way of living, closeness with forest as well as valuable natural resources.  Information centre and centre of etnoculture is located at Marcinkonys but Čepkelių raistas provides atmospheric vast bog landscape. Pleasant forest trails and quite roads are pleasant for cycling. Druskininkai is a historic spa resort with charming old town, many spa hotels, walking trails and entertainment facilities. There is the Grutos Park where monuments from Soviet area is collected in order to demonstrate the former oppressive ideology. From there the road heads to lively Kaunas which sits between two rivers -Nemunas and Neris. 
The route continues along the picturesque banks of the Nemuna river visiting small friendly villages along the way and passing Nemunas Delta Regional Park. The first Balts' tribes has arrived in Lithuania along the banks of Nemuna river leaving behind rich heritage and scenic castle mounds.
The route finishes at the port city Klaipēda which is Lithuanian gateway to Europe as well as nearby Curonian Spit.

Naukšēni Winery is an organic farm producing cider from Paradise apples.

Our Story 
Cider and fruit wine have been produced here since 2012. The owner of the winery is Jānis Baunis. Wine production is a family tradition, passed down to the second generation; the founder was Jānis' father, Ilmārs Baunis.

Apples 
The fruits and berries are grown locally in Naukšēni, in the largest Paradise apple orchard in the Baltic, covering an area of 6 hectares. The orchard hosts around 20 different varieties of Paradise apples, with a total of approximately 2000 trees.

Ciders  
The Paradise apples give Naukšēni ciders their special and unique taste.

For Visitors
The owners offer tours of the production facility, where they explain the cider-making process and provide tastings of all available drinks along with snacks. In the autumn, they organise a Paradise apple-picking event, followed by a shared meal and drinks, featuring beverages from Naukšēni Winery.

This site has a commemorative stone which speaks to Krišjānis Valdemārs’ achievements in the development of the Latvian state.  This used to be the location of the Roja or Lubezere maritime school, and the home for teachers is still there.  A private medical practice is in the building right now.  The maritime school existed from 1873 to 1915 and was wrecked during World War I.  The school trained helmsmen for short-distance trips.  Tuition was free, and classes were taught in Latvian.  Latvian sailors were known in Russia and abroad, including the Americas.  They were respected for their serious approach to their work, their honesty and their loyalty. (Source: Roja TIC)

Nature restricted area includes eastern side of the lake with Lanupe River and North-east and South-east coastal areas. Restricted area has been established for protection of birds and floodplain meadows of the lake. To see the nature restricted area visitors do not have to enter it. There are great view points with wind generators of Grobina on the background from the road Vecpils – Rava – Aistere. Coastal areas which are not included in the restricted area are perfectly suitable for bird watching. There is located the smallest city by its population in Latvia to the South from the lake.

This territory protects a lime outcrop found on the shores of the lower reaches of the Zaņa River. There is a path for active hikers which begins at the Zaņa mill (1864, rebuilt 1890, shut down 1960). The path weaves its way along the steep shores of the little river, heading toward its mouth.
