	Tauri	A biological farm in the lovely nature park of the Ogre River valley. You can tour the farm to see how biological cattle from the Charolais breed are bred. Walk down our nature trails to watch cows grazing in the fields. Visit the little Akmeņupīte stream and the large oak trees that are in the area. You can see the rapids of the Ogre River and, in the spring, broad fields of ramsons. The venue offers tastings of its products, and you can also purchase meat to take along with you.
	TALAVA Cider	TĀLAVA Cider creates 100% natural apple ciders and expands the boundaries of traditional beverage categories and flavor perceptions. History It all started back in 2013, when our founder - a true Gulbene local (from the historic land once called Tālava) - decided it was time to turn a dream into something real. Surrounded by orchards bursting with apples, the idea was simple, but bold - make drinks that taste like home, but feel like a discovery. Drinks that would show just how many flavors one small corner of Latvia could hold. Like all great adventures, TĀLAVA began small - in a parent’s garage, with nothing but a 1000L tank, a stubborn streak for quality and a whole lot of heart. Every apple was chosen by hand, every batch made with care. And somehow, in that little garage, magic happened. Today, TĀLAVA is still a family-run - only now the horizons are wider, the cans travel further and every sip still carries the same story of orchards, of tradition, of daring to create something that lasts. Apples and fruits The ciders are made using carefully selected apples from local farms and natural fruit juices. The cider house takes pride in cold-pressing the juice without the use of concentrates, artificial flavors, or added water. TĀLAVA ciders are complemented with natural quince, cherry, rhubarb juices, and hops. Ciders TĀLAVA produces sparkling ciders packaged in cans made from recycled aluminum, with labels made from an innovative blend of organic materials and recycled plastic. Alongside alcoholic ciders, a non-alcoholic cider is also produced. TĀLAVA ciders have been awarded in international competitions, including the International Cider Challenge, Japan Cider Cup 2023, Cider World Award, and SISGA Asturias. 	Leather products and horse tackle at Apkalnmajas	Here you will find everything needed for horseback riding, including reins, belts, leather sacks, etc. You can tour the exhibition hall, learn about types of leather, try your hand at the process, and purchase products. The craftswoman will be delighted to talk about the Lettigalian lifestyle.
	Fisherman's farm DIENINAS	The owners are third-generation fishers, and they will be happy to sell you some smoked local fish. Tour groups can take part in active leisure related to cultural aspects of smoking tasty fish (tossing a boot into the sea, stories from fishermen’s wives, a theatrical performance, and the smoking and tasting of fish). Latvian cuisine: Smoked and dried plaice, hot-smoked eelpout and other fish prepared on the basis of ancient local recipes.
	Sabiles Sidrs Cidery	Sabile ciders are crafted from natural apple juice using traditional cider-making methods. Our Story The owners of Sabile Cidery are the Circenis family – Baiba and Aldis. The idea of the cidery came from both tending the family orchard near Sabile, where old, majestic apple trees grow, and from learning about cider culture and production traditions in England and France. Apples The apples used for cider-making are grown in the orchards of Kurzeme – both dessert apples and specially selected varieties suitable for cider production. Ciders Sabile's ciders are intense, yet fresh and sparkling, with or without additional flavours. Two brands of cider are produced: Sabiles Cider and Gardener's. There are also mulled ciders and cider cocktails available. Sabile's ciders have won awards at international competitions in Spain, Germany, Norway, and Riga. 	THE LIEPAS PLANT FARM	The Liepas farm in Dobele is a dynamically developing plant farm, specialising in fruit trees, berry bushes and roses. On offer are locally grown, high-quality and appropriate for Latvia's climate fruit tree, rose and berry bush planting materials, with a wide variety of types. Visitors will see plants in containers and an introductory garden which shows how a small fruit tree looks when it is grown up. During the spring, visitors will enjoy the blooming season, and during the summer and autumn they will be able to taste cherries, plums, apples and pears.
	Open-Air Exhibition of Latvian Plants and Herbs Ladezera DARZS	Open-air functional exhibition of medicinal plants introduces you to a “green pharmacy”. There are more than 300 different plants. Every healthy lifestyle enthusiast can find the secrets of fitotherapy and learn how to use the plants in many different ways – making sauna besoms, aromatic pillows, healthy teas, bath scrubs etc. Facilities: excursion through medicinal plant garden and collection, tasting of green cocktails.
	Valguma pasaules baskaju taka	The first barefoot trail created in the Baltic States in the recreation complex "Valguma pasaule", which is located on the forested shores of Lake Valguma. When walking on the path, the feet "massage" sand, wood chips, clay, peat, gravel, cones and various other materials.
	Lauku maja "Punas"	The countryside house offers a comfortable and cozy environment for relaxation close to nature. The house features a spacious bedroom with a large king-size bed and a pull-out chair, providing a comfortable stay for guests. There is both a shower and a bathtub available, as well as a large kitchen equipped with everything necessary for cooking. The bedroom has a fireplace that creates a particularly cozy atmosphere on cooler evenings. The outdoor area includes several terraces where guests can grill or set up a table for a meal in the fresh air. Approximately 100 meters away is a two-story sauna house. The ground floor includes a sauna, a small kitchenette with a sink, and a washing area with a shower and toilet. The second floor offers sleeping accommodations for six people and a TV for relaxation. Near the sauna house, there is a pond where guests can swim.
	Viesu nams Saulgriezes	The Saulgriezes guesthouse is near Bernāte with 10 flats of different types and sizes. There is a pine forest near the guesthouse, and the beach is 500 m away. Guests have access to a playground for children, as well as a place for campfires. The flats are appropriate for families with children, business trips, or leisure alone, as a couple or with a group of friends. All of the flats have sleeping areas with bed linens, a leisure zone, a dining area and a kitchen where light meals can be prepared. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove, an electric tea kettle, an oven surface, dishes and utensils. Guests also have access to a bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, slippers, towels, lavatory items and hygienic items. There are televisions in the flats, along with free WIFI and a private parking spot for cars. The territory also has a sauna with a leisure area, as well as a banquet room for approximately 60 guests.
	Subrakkrasti (ARA Kalnozols)	The company “ARA Kalnozols, Ltd.” is located in the same territory with the guest house "Šubrakkrasti", located in Madona region, Bērzaune parish, 8 km from Lake Kāla, in a quiet place surrounded by nature. "Šubrakkrasti" is both a guest house and a non-standard farm, which offers excursions, during which you will be able to get acquainted with the history of the house (previously there was a dairy), owner Raimonds Aizstrauts - factory equipment production workshop, his motorsports (four-time USSR champion in motorsports) and work on CNC and laser engraving equipment. Walk through the manicured countryside, which includes a mountain with a serpentine road, landscaped gardens, ponds, etc. There is a 9-hole meadow golf course in the area. There are also creative workshops - a soap maker or gift box making.
	The “Putelkrogs” café	This family-run café is on the edge of the Jelgava-Tērvete road, at the historic Pūteļi dairy processing plant. Latvian cuisine: Goat’s cheese, cold beet soup, grey peas with bacon, herring with potatoes and cottage cheese, roast pork, veal with wild mushroom sauce, pork roast in heather honey, crepes with heather honey, rye bread, birch juice, cranberry beverage, vodka, local beers. Special foods: Zeppelins a la Pūteļkrogs, served with wild mushroom sauce, chicken filet stuffed with tomatoes, goat’s cheese and dried tomatoes.
	Jaunparkas	“Jaunparkas” atrodas Zaļenieku pagastā, skaistā un ainaviskā vietā blakus Zaļās muižas parkam un Zaļenieku šūpoļparkam. Saimniecība nodarbojas ar biškopību un augļkopību. Apskates saimniecība piedāvā: ekskursiju pa saimniecību un stāstu par biškopību; medus un bišu produktu degustāciju; bišu gultas namiņa pakalpojumus; vaska sveču liešanas un vaska drāniņu meistarklases. 	Imantas	Located on the steep bluff seaside of the Baltic Sea. The seasonal menu mostly focuses on local fish and lamprey. You can also taste freshly baked carrot pies (žograuši) here.
	Piksas	The birthplace of Latvia’s first prime minister and, later, president, Kārlis Ulmanis (1877-1942) was turned into a museum in 1993. The homestead has undergone unbelievable transformation during the past two decades. The landscape has been cleaned up, and buildings that were lost or were in poor shape have been rebuilt. There are a house, an ancillary building, a cattle shed and barn and a granary. The exhibition focuses on the life of Ulmanis, featuring an impressive collection of agricultural equipment and instruments, including Latvia’s largest wooden butter churn.
	Farmers’ market STRAUPES FARMERS’ MARKET	This market sells produces from local farmers and home manufacturers who offer traditional and seasonal food which they grow and prepare themselves. You can purchase vegetables, fruit, fresh and smoked meat, cheese, bread, country tortes, homemade wine and various household and gardening objects.
	Avarijas brigade / AB park	ABpark is a great place to spend time energetically and creatively for the whole family. Large and small adventure seekers are welcomed to enjoy more than 30 attractions in the Baltic's largest amusement park. It is possible to get to know and take photos with various dinosaurs, while walking along the dinosaur trail, but the Cālis.lv story trail offers you to enjoy the exhibitions of the famous doll artist Vladlena. For more active relaxation, you can experience the virtual reality adventures, take part in laser tag match and ride an electric autodrome or go-karts. But to refresh from the heat, it is possible to have fun in the ERGO inflatable water world or catch the wind in the Twister, EHR Surf, Chain, 360-degree and our other carousels. During the visit, you can enjoy snacks or meals in one of the park's cafes. ABpark souvenirs, which can be purchased at the amusement park souvenir shop, will remind you for a long time about the moments experienced in the park. The entrance ticket includes all attractions throughout the day.
	The Dzirnavu saloon of the Birini Castle	The saloon is in the park of the Bīriņi Castle alongside a lake. It offers a lovely view from the summer terrace. The saloon is in the old windmill building, with antique objects preserved in the interior. Latvian cuisine: Grey peas with bacon, herring with potatoes, sautéed chicken and potatoes, chanterelle sauce, sautéed cabbage with hunter’s sausages, apple tart.
	Pub MEKE	Opened on June 21, 2011, at the 51st kilometre of the Tallinn-Riga highway, the MEKE KROGS pub is a typical example of the roadside pubs which used to be built along the sides of roads and near homesteads, castles, mills and windmills. This particular one is located into renovated cattle shed that is more than 100 years old – a lovely log building that is named after the former baron of the local estate, von Mecke. Alongside it is the handsome parish building which was erected in 1907 with red bricks from Tūja. Latvian cuisine: Sorrel stew with grits, cold soup, pounded beef, mutton and vegetable stew, grits with smoked meat and mushrooms, herring with cottage cheese, bread soup. Special foods: Porridge with bacon bits and Meke spicy sausages.
