The owner offers groups of various sizes a chance to go to the sea in a fisherman’s boat and to watch shoreline fishing, as well. The lamprey eel weirs that are on the Svētupe River differ from those on the Salaca River in terms of their structure and the fishing principles. From Riga the tour goes through historic sea resort Jurmala to Pure Chocolate museum where you could see production and taste some. Then the tour goes to Sabile where there is small Wine Hill which history dates back to 16th century. You visit local wine producer who will show his gardens and talk about grape growing in the Latvian climate nowadays. Afterwards tasting of the seasonally available drinks. Then you visit small picturesque town Kuldiga and have some wine tasting there. Next day there are eco wine tasting at Aizpute and Durbe and then go to the city of Liepaja with lovely sandy beach, arty atmosphere and significant military heritage at Karaosta suburb. Then the route follows up the coast line. At Pavilosta you have a trip in traditional fishermen boat and at Alsunga singing and demonstration of local traditions by Suiti women. Culturally colourful community which heritage is listed in UNESCO. Then walk along the steep sea cost at Jurkalne and enjoy the best maintained port town of Ventspils. Next day there is a visit to local fishermen and see fish smoking process, then walk along Cape Kolka where the open sea meets the Riga Bay. Turning back to Riga you have a visit and tasting at wine maker in Talsi. |

Ģeoloģiskā taka sastāv no trīs saistītiem posmiem: „Melturi – Kārļu zivjaudzētava”, „Kārļu zivjaudzētava – Zvārtes iezis” un "Zvārtes iezis - Veclauču tilts". Amatas senleja veidojusies vienlaikus ar Gaujas senleju leduslaikmeta beigu posmā un pēcleduslaikmetā, ledāja kušanas ūdeņiem plūstot uz Gaujas ieleju. Gaujas NP teritorijā Amatas senielejas dziļums sasniedz 50 metrus un platums palielinās līdz apmēram 1-1,5km.
Augstas kraujas (vairāk ne kā 40 metru), kurās redzami augšdevona Pļaviņu svītas dolomītu un augšdevona Amatas un Gaujas svītu smilšakmeņu atsegumi, mijas ar mežiem apaugušām, 3-16m augstām stāvām terasēm.
Amatas senieleja ir nozīmīga ne tikai ar savām dabas ainavām. Tās krastus grezno dolomīta un smilšakmens atsegumi, kas atklāj zemes vēstures lappuses 350-400 miljonu gadu tālā pagātnē, kad Latvijas teritoriju klāja jūra.

Information about this stream dates back to the mid-18th century, but people used it much earlier than that. People donated money to the stream after washing or drinking the water. During the first half of the 19th century, the baron of Tirza and the local church waged a battle against pagan traditions, though not very successfully. There is now a canopy over the stream, and people still drink its water. |

In Soviet times, the border guards of Ventspils established a major complex of buildings, open areas and various objects. Most of these are no longer in use, and the area is not under guard.

This is on the north-western shore of Lake Lielezers of Limbaži, at the start of the Lielezers nature trail. The tower opens up a view of the lake and its lovely shores. It is worth walking the trail, which is several kilometres long, because it is an interesting one. This is part of the ZBR. |

The farm breeds goats and uses goat milk to produce cheese and other products. A presentation hall offers visitors a chance to taste ice cream made of goat milk, as well as purchase goat-related souvenirs and other products. There are tours of the farm, too. |

Ēkā saglabājušies atsevišķi interjera elementi – parketa grīdas, koka kāpnes u.c. Muižas parkā joprojām zaļo Baltijā lielākā Eiropas baltegle. Tās augstums pārsniedz 32 m, apkārtmērs - 4 m. Parkā izveidota atpūtas vieta. |

The Ungurmuiža park is well known for its outstanding and huge oak trees. Some of them are rotting or dead, and they are home to a great many species, including many that are found nowhere else in Europe. A pathway leads through these noble trees – 1.3km in length, with visitors spending as much as an hour there. The park also contains the only wooden castle from the early 18th century that has been preserved to the present day. There are other cultural and historical treasures, as well.

Baznīcas iekšpusē atrodas nozīmīgi mākslas pieminekļi: altāris (1699. g., pārbūvēts 1861. g., mākslinieks J. Dērings), kancele (1762. g.) un ērģeļu prospekts (1766. g.) – abi Nikolaja fon Korfa dāvinājums, draudzes soli (17. gs. vidus – 18. gs. sāk.), senākais no koka veidotais Bauskas ģerboņa attēlojums (1640. g.), deviņas 16. – 17. gs. kapu plāksnes, epitāfijas u.c. The owner of the Stāmeriena Estate was Baron Johann Gottlieb von Wolff, and his wife, Sofia Potyomkina, was a member of the Russian Orthodox faith, so work on the church began in 1902. It was consecrated two years later. The crosses on the steeple of the church are known for mountain crystals that were presented by the Wolff dynasty. Contact the church in advance for a tour of its interior. |
