The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares.  There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties.  There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden.  Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation.  You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music.  On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water.  Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them.  You can purchase rose and perennial plants.  Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike.  Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals.   We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions.  The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom.  Ring 2646-9604 to arrange for your visit in advance, please.

Aromatic coffee is produced here from chicory and on the basis of ancient recipes from grandma Alīda. All of the ingredients come from surrounding fields and forests. "Aldara alus darbnīca" ir modernākais alus muzejs Baltijas valstīs un pirmais Latvijā. Alus muzejs atrodas vēsturiskajā Aldara kvartālā – Sarkandaugavā. Pēc vērienīgas rekonstrukcijas, vēsturiskās ēkas atjaunošanas un alus ekspozīcijas izveides, muzejs savas durvis vēra 2015. gada maijā. Muzejs izvietots trijos stāvos 800 kvadrātmetru platībā.

Muzeja interjerā ir akcentētas vēsturiskās liecības, tā lepnums ir autentiskā alus vārītavas zāle, kas neskarta saglabāta kopš 1938. gada. Tās senie alus vārīšanas vara katli ir retums, kas saglabājušies līdz pat mūsdienām. Izmantojot jaunākās tehnoloģijas, senajos vārīšanas katlos interaktīvā veidā ir iespējams izpētīt četru galveno alus sastāvdaļu  – ūdens, apiņu, iesala un rauga – burvību.

The owners of the farm inherited it. There is a wood house with decorative trim and window shutters. The owners use milk from their own cows to produce cheeses on the basis of old and modern recipes. On the farm there is also situated the Star Space observatory where during the ~ two-hour-long visit you will hear simply presented stories about stars, planets and other topics.After the lecture, outside, in fresh air you will be able to put the acquired knowledge to use, by trying to spot some constellations – how to find them, how they look like, etc. After you learn about constellations, you can observe them in the observatory’s powerful telescope which is open to public use.

The granary and cheese-making facility of the former Sieksāte (Berghof) Estate now house a museum (since 1985) which tracks the route of milk from the cow to the finished product. “Baltais Gulbis” is a café that opened on May 6, 2023.  The café offers a meal after a lovely visit to Likteņdārzs (Destiny Garden).  The café is next to the meeting house in Koknese and the place where the “Gulbis” yacht stops.  Tasty coffee, refreshing drinks, snacks, hearty luncheons, ice cream and other goodies.

The birthplace of Latvia’s first prime minister and, later, president, Kārlis Ulmanis (1877-1942) was turned into a museum in 1993.  The homestead has undergone unbelievable transformation during the past two decades.  The landscape has been cleaned up, and buildings that were lost or were in poor shape have been rebuilt.  There are a house, an ancillary building, a cattle shed and barn and a granary.  The exhibition focuses on the life of Ulmanis, featuring an impressive collection of agricultural equipment and instruments, including Latvia’s largest wooden butter churn.

Skrunda Manor is located on the bank of the River Venta, on the side of the Riga-Liepāja highway. Camping "Adamova" is located in a large and scenic area less than 3 km from the center of Krāslava, by the river Daugava. Camping "Adamova", opened in 2021, offers relaxation in one of 5 cozy cabins. The Jaunpils Crafts House opened on May 10, 2015, and it is home to a group of weavers from Jaunpils that was established in 1970, as well as the “Dzīpars” organisation.  The group is led by a master weaver, Velga Pavlovska, who is happy to share her knowledge with the 18 women who are part of the group.  She organises the work of women who do handicrafts, and she also conducts tours and creative workshops.  Visitors can learn about the work of weavers and other master handicraft specialists, take part in educational master classes, go on tours and purchase various souvenirs.

A garden of feelings, where peonies smell, birds sing and the heart rejoices! About 730 peonies of different varieties grow in the garden of "Romju pojenes", which will delight every visitor with their variety of scents, colors and shapes.

It is located in Tukuma county, Irlava parish, ~1 km from the Viesata river loop nature trail.
