In case if the existing ponds seem to be too small, in a 5 minute drive away there is a Rideļu lake and the Baltic sea is 10 minutes away from the complex.

A 100 year old wooden house with all modern conveniences retaining its cosy aura after renovation. 3 rooms, a large, convenient kitchen and a veranda on the 1st floor. 2 large 5-bed mansard apartments and a kitchen on the 2nd floor. Lielborne Manor is a manor complex in the territory of the Nature Park “Daugavas loki”. In Lielborne there is an old park built on terraces, a 2 km long embossed walking trail, a mill pond and a waterfall. Recreational sites have been built in the historical places, which offer a view of the mill ruins, ponds, the river of Borne river and the Daugava.

Active entertainment facilities are offered in the territory of the manor: a playground for children, a rope track for young people and a climbing wall. “Piedāgi Ūši” in Kolka is a modern two-story holiday home with two rooms with seven beds on the upper floor and a large kitchen and dining area with a fireplace on the first floor.  The venue is perfect for a large family or for two families wanting to vacation together.  The venue is particularly meant for hikers and environmental tourists.  There is equipment to dry footwear and apparel, to do laundry, to relax in a sauna, and to sit around in a friendly way in the kitchen/dining area.  Bicyclists will enjoy a stand for bikes in the outer room of the building.

The venue is a 10-minute walk from Cape Kolka and is on a large plot of land.  The beach is just a hop, skip and jump away.
