Siers top ilgi un pacietīgi visa gada garumā no pašu saimniecības kazu piena. Tā ir pilna cikla saimniekošana: saimnieki stāda, ravē un novāc ražu, ēd paši un dod ēst kazām. Kazu dziļās kūts uzkrājumi katru rudeni tiek vesti uz lauka, lai katru nākamo gadu “atdzimtu” ēdamajos dārzājos.

The farm breeds fallow deer and trout, grows vegetables and fruit. Visitors can see the deer and wild boar, taste berries and fruits directly from the garden, participate in creative workshops and cooking master classes called "Izgaršo dzīvi". The hostess combines the regional culinary heritage traditions of Kurzeme region and contemporary cuisine. The food is prepared on live fire, using the deer, trout and vegetables from the farm. The host is a winemaker who makes every bottle with great care. Guests can enjoy tastings and stories in the romantic wine cellar.

The craftsman offers useful household products such as terrines, pots to make pickles, dishes of sugar and salt, bowls, etc. You can learn about pottery traditions and watch as the kiln is opened.

The route includes some of the most authentic local expediencies travelling through blue lake districts along the Eastern part of Latvia and Lithuania. This is a region where mass tourism has not yet arrived, and you find very sincere and hospitable people, traditional villages, many churches and cult locations which bring together paganism, Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, Russian Orthodoxy and Old believers, 
The route weaves through the Rāzna National Park surrounding lake Rāzna which provide scenic views, contains traditional farmsteads and ancient castle mounds. There is Aglona Basilica, pilgrimage place and Bread Museum worthwhile a visit. The route goes through Daugavpils with impressive 19th century' s fortress where the Art Centre of the world's famous abstractionist Mark Rothko is located.  Several pottery workshops producing traditional “black” ceramics are along the way. 
The route continues through Aukštaitija National Park across the border in Lithuania. It goes through ethnographic villages, along wooden churches and many lakes. Ancient Bee-keeping Museum at Stripeikiai is worthwhile a visit. To keep the contrast the route goes also to European Park, an open-air contemporary art museum and the centre of Europe.
Surely, you will taste the local beer of Latgale in Latvia and traditional dish Cepelinai in Lithuania. 

From the berries and fruits that grow in the wonderful Võrumaa hilly area, farmers make wine, introduce guests to their garden, explain the wine making process, organise tastings and classes.

Fishermen along the seashore of the Baltic Sea love Laikas. They can hope to catch plaice, cod and eels, after which the owners of the farm will cook tasty fish soup or smoke the fish. You can help out in the process.
