	MAGNUS HOTEL	Three-star hotel is situated in the center of Kaunas city. Nine-storey building has 82 comfortable rooms (75 double and 7 deluxe rooms) which are both modern and cosy. The jewel of the hotel is a panoramic bar on the 9th floor with open terrace and amazing city view.
	ASVEJA	A camping not far from Dubinga town. 9 cottages and a restaurant in a closed area in the forest, in the vicinity of the lake Asveja.

	GALDIN, KLAJIES!	A family restaurant, located 12 km from Talsi, that offers traditional Latvian cuisine.
	Mazburkas	The Mazburkas farm is in a lovely location between the Rīga-Ventspils (A 10) highway and Tukums, with a beautiful and hillocky landscape all around it. There are fields grapes on the southern slopes of the hillocks, and some 60 different kinds of grapes are grown there. Visitors can pick their own grapes or buy some that have already been picked. The lady of the farm produces outstanding wines that have received prestigious prizes, including international ones. Another specialisation is sheep breeding. Visitors can look at the herd and purchase mutton if they contact the farm in advance for that purpose. There is a large wooden platform at the farm for visitors. Owner Gunta Niedra is happy to share in her experiences and provide consultations to those who wish to engage in sheep breeding.
	The birthplace and museum of Stepon Darius	This museum was opened in 1991 at the birthplace of the aviator Stepon Darius. The house and granary have been restored, with exhibitions in both buildings. One speaks to the history of aviation in Lithuania and Darius' life, while the other shows ancient household objects. There is a campsite nearby where you can spend a longer period of time.
	Mezotne Castle	This beautiful castle (1797-1802) is seen as the most brilliant example of Classicism in Latvian architecture. It, like the Eleja Castle, was designed by the architect of the royal court in Russia, Giacomo Antonio Domenico Quarenghi and the architect Johann Georg Adam Berlitz. The ornate interior was unique for Kurzeme at the time when the castle was built. Empress Catherine II gifted the castle to Charlotte von Lieven (1742-1828) after Charlotte served as governess for the empress’ grandchildren. An agricultural school operated in the building from 1921 until 1941, and it was very much damaged and pillaged during World War II. Restoration began later, when the Mežotne experimental selection station was housed in it. The lovely building houses a hotel and can be toured. Around the castle, which is on the banks of the Lielupe River, there is one of the most beautiful English-type gardens in Latvia – perfect for a stroll.
	Kupskalnu dabas taka	Taka izveidota 2005. gadā. Tā atrodas uz Lapmežciema un Bigauņciema robežas un izskatās kā koka dēlīšu laipa gar Siliņupi. Taka aizved līdz jūrai, kur apskatāms vecais Lapmežciema mols. Siliņupē novērojami ūdensputni.
1 day	Half day tour: The Great Bog Boardwalk in Kemeri National Park	The Great Ķemeri Bog Boardwalk is located in Ķemeri National Park. The national park covers an area of 38,165 hectares. The Great Ķemeri Bog Boardwalk immerses visitors in the world of moss, small pine trees, deep pools, tiny dark lakes and the smell of wild rosemary. An astute visitor will notice the carnivorous sundew plant and a variety of birds – wood sandpipers, white wagtails and tree pipits – and will also be able to hear cranes further away. Those who prefer shorter strolls can take the small boardwalk loop (approx. 1.4 km), while those who choose the great loop (approx. 3.4 km) will be rewarded with the opportunity to climb to a viewing platform that offers a magnificent view of the bog from above. The Great Ķemeri Bog Boardwalk has become a popular place for landscape and wildlife photographers. The whole trail is laid to wooden boardwalk and therefore is fully accessible and can be walked without a professional guide.
	Varniku izzinas taka (Varnikų pazintis takas)	Varniku mežā (Varnikų miškas) ir izveidota patiesi interesanta dabas izziņas taka, kas iet cauri dažādiem biotopiem – skujkoku un ozolu mežiem, purvainu mežu un sūnu purvu ar akačiem un nelieliem purva ezeriņiem, kur uzceltas divas skatu platformas. Mitrajās vietās un purvā ir izveidotas koka laipas. Šī ir populāra pastaigu vieta. Taka ir lokveida un marķēta. Tās apskatei būs nepieciešama ~ pusotra stunda.
	Priekules bralu kapi	Baltijas valstīs lielākie brāļu kapi, kur izveidots (1974. - 1984. g.) piemiņas memoriāls (tēlniece P. Zaļkalne, arhitekti A. Zoldners, E. Salguss un dendrologs A. Lasis) 8 ha platībā. Šeit apglabāti ~ 23 000 cīņās par Kurzemes cietoksni jeb Kurzemes katlu (1945. g. pavasaris) kritušie Sarkanās armijas karavīri. Memoriāla centrā novietots12 m augsts Mātes - dzimtenes tēls, bet uz granīta plāksnēm iegravēti kritušo vārdi, starp kuriem ir atrodami arī daudzi mūsu zemes un kaimiņvalstu dēlu vārdi un uzvārdi.
	Coastal defence batteries at Olmani	Today there’s a single-family farm and not much else, but at one time Olmaņi was the site of two important coastal batteries collectively known as “Krastnoflotskaya.” Until 1955, the one to the South of Olmaņi, there were four 152-mm Kane type cannons, which were manufactured during World War I and were widely used to protect the coastal territory of the Baltic Soviet republics of Latvia and Estonia during the rule of the Soviet regime. Small concentric ramparts of earth are all that’s left there today. After 1955, to the North of Olmaņi, another battery was installed with four MY-2 152-mm cannons. They had a range of 25 km. The battery remained in battle readiness until 1975, when it was turned into a reserve facility. It’s not easy to find, but it’s worth the search. The platforms for the cannons and the subterranean bunkers are still there. This was indeed one of the most impressive coastal batteries along the shores of the Baltic Sea.
	Kristus Karala kalns	Atrodas nepilnus 2 km austrumos no Aglonas, Aglonas – Dagdas ceļa malā. Tā ieceres autors ir Ēriks Delpers, kurš 2006. g. uzsāka vietas labiekārtošanu, izveidojot brīvdabas skulptūru dārzu un stādījumus. Kristus Karaļa kalns šobrīd atrodas izveides procesā, taču neskatoties uz to – objekts, ko ir vērts redzēt!
	Daugavpils Sveto Moceklu Borisa un Gleba pareizticigo katedrale	Atrodas t.s. Baznīcu kalnā - Tautas ielā 2. Šo uzskata par vienu no krāšņākajiem Latvijas pareizticīgo dievnamiem, kura ārējo veidolu izrotā daudzo torņu kupoli. Tā celta 1905. g. kā Dinaburgas garnizona baznīca ar daudziem nozīmīgiem mākslas pieminekļiem interjerā, t.sk. 19. gs. ikonām. Dievnams ir ikdienā atvērts un apskatāms no iekšpuses.

12 days	Through lake districts along the borderland of European Union	The route includes some of the most authentic local expediencies travelling through blue lake districts along the Eastern part of Latvia and Lithuania. This is a region where mass tourism has not yet arrived, and you find very sincere and hospitable people, traditional villages, many churches and cult locations which bring together paganism, Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, Russian Orthodoxy and Old believers, The route weaves through the Rāzna National Park surrounding lake Rāzna which provide scenic views, contains traditional farmsteads and ancient castle mounds. There is Aglona Basilica, pilgrimage place and Bread Museum worthwhile a visit. The route goes through Daugavpils with impressive 19th century' s fortress where the Art Centre of the world's famous abstractionist Mark Rothko is located. Several pottery workshops producing traditional “black” ceramics are along the way. The route continues through Aukštaitija National Park across the border in Lithuania. It goes through ethnographic villages, along wooden churches and many lakes. Ancient Bee-keeping Museum at Stripeikiai is worthwhile a visit. To keep the contrast the route goes also to European Park, an open-air contemporary art museum and the centre of Europe. Surely, you will taste the local beer of Latgale in Latvia and traditional dish Cepelinai in Lithuania.
	The Lutheran Church of St John in Aizpute	The Lutheran Church of St John in Aizpute is on Beidas Hill, which is near the steep river valley of the Tebra River and the Dzirnavdīķis pond which the river has created. The church is on an ancient Courlandian castle hill. The current Gothic appearance of the church dates back to 1860, when it was rebuilt. The tower dates back to 1730. This is one of the oldest churches in Kurzeme, and it features an interesting interior with many artistic monuments.
	Kaigu purvs	The part of the swamp which has mosses, not peat, is important for plover-type birds during nesting season, and goose-type birds during migration.
