Туристический клуб «Ога» с 1 мая 2013 года планирует здесь организацию разных связанных с жизнью викингов мероприятий, во время которых можно будет войти в образ викинга, отправиться в поход на корабле викингов (в соответствующей одежде) по реке Аланде, а также познакомиться с окрестностями, которые связаны с тематикой викингов. Рядом с поселением установлена деревянная фигура викинга с рогами (от коров, пасущихся на Витиньских лугах на берегу Лиепайского озера).

Ventspils is one of the most affluent towns with excellent infrastructure, well- restored Livonian Order Castle, promenade, arty fountains, manicured parks. A short trip by the narrow-gauge steam engine is a special attraction for kids as well as adults. Water pleasures can be fully enjoyed at indoor or outdoor aqua parks. Go for self-drive excursions in vicinity featuring scenic sea coast, traditional fishing villages where smoked fish can be bought from fishermen, Slitere National Park with beautiful view from its lighthouse, charming Kuldiga with its wooden architecture and waterfall. On the way back to Riga, adults might enjoy stop at the home winery to taste excellent wines made from everything else but grapes. Kids would love a stop at the farmstead to see various farm animals and feed some rabbits. Before Riga make a stop at Jurmala, famous historic sea and spa resort.

This is appropriate for active hikers who enjoy looking at nature and learning about cultural and historical environments.  The hike is down the valley of the most impressive river in the Baltic States – the Gauja, as well as the deep and ancient valley of one of its tributaries – the Amata.  Lovely Devonian sandstone cliffs rise above both sides of the rivers.  The Līgatne Paper Factory village is an outstanding example of industrial heritage at the European level, with a unique environment from the 19th and 20th century.  The Cēsis castle that is at the end of the route was once the mightiest Medieval fortress in Livonia.

Ap 0,5 km ziemeļaustrumos no Stukmaņu muižas – Daugavas ielejas labajā krastā atrodas Vīna kalns – sens pilskalns. Tajā atrodas izpostītie Stukmaņu muižas īpašnieku kapi. Mazliet tālāk redzams klajš upes ielejas nogāzes posms, kurā savulaik darbojās slēpošanas trase.

Nice rest in a country house, which is located 2 km from Aizkraukle city and 1.5 km from Aizkraukle railway station. The recreation complex is suitable for relaxation for two or a group of friends, up to 25 people.

In a separate building there is a party hall with a sauna and a hot tub. There is also a black bath. There are tent and caravan sites in the area. For active recreation, there are bicycle rental, Nordic walking, horse riding, museum of horse saddlery and a mini zoo.
