Vairākas salas Zvirgzdenes ezerā, uz kurām saglabājušies platlapju (ozolu, liepu) meži ar bagātīgu zemsedzes floru. Salas var redzēt no ceļiem, kas piekļaujas ezera ziemeļu un austrumu krastam.

Eins der eindrücksvollen Meteoritenkraterfelder Europas. Der Hauptkrater ist 22 m tief, Durchmesser – 110 m. Der ungefähre Zeitraum des Meteoriteneinschlags liegt ung. 7500-Jahre zurück. 

Atrodas 2,5 km dienvidos no „Kalna Kaibēniem”, Ogres kreisajā krastā. Ap 300 gadus vecā rija, ko atjaunoja 2008. gadā ir uzskatāms par Baltijas (Eiropas) mērogā vienreizēju koka arhitektūras pieminekli. Šobrīd tā ir Latvijā lielākā senlaiku dzīvojamā rija. For the introduction into the Latvian craftsmanship make a visit to the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum in Riga where skillful masters will show you traditional skills. Out of Riga visit birch juice and wine maker which tells and shows how the birch juice is extracted and how preserved. You could taste it as well. Then go the area connected with ancient historic legends. Visit the museum of famous Latvian hero Lacplesis to see there Lielvarde Belt where the story is written using ancient secret symbols. At Koknese have a Viking boat trip around the picturesque Koknese castle ruins. Then visit farm which grows hemp and makes traditional hemp butter, goats farm and home-made traditional beer producer. Latgale region is famous for its pottery schools and "black" ceramics. You visit few workshops on the way as well as Ludzas Crafts Centre which provides great insight into local traditions. At the typical Latgalian farm try traditional sauna ritual and have proper regional meal. Further on stop at the Aglona Basilica which is a pilgrimage place. But for stomach pleasures visit Bread Museum, farm which produces tasty cheeses and other healthy diary products as well as visit herbal tea maker and learn there few health tips. Sightseeing of Daugavpils historic centre, impressive 19th century' s fortress are followed by visit to Lead Shot Factory where is a biggest shot towers in Europe which still works. On the way to Riga visit impressive Baltic pearl - Rundale Palace.

Work on the park began in end of 18th century, when it was a landscape park with trails for strolling and a system of pathways, benches and bridges.  The 196-ha park is one of the largest estate parks in Latvia, and in dendrological terms it is one of the richest ones, with more than 200 varieties of trees and bushes, including 127 foreign ones.  The park encircles the village of Kazdanga, including the Kazdanga Castle and the territory to its north, where you will find the burying grounds of the Manteuffel family.  These were established at the very beginning of the 20th century, but the work was interrupted by World War I.  The park features leisure areas and decorative elements.  The castle was built around 1800 by the European-level architect Johann Gregor Berlitz after a design by architect Giacomo Quarenghi.  The ensemble included a Cavalier House, a granary, a residential home, a stable, a bridge across the valley and other structures.  An agricultural school was opened in the castle in 1924.  Today it is the Kazdanga Museum, with the local Tourism Information Centre..

This 1939 monument was designed by Kārlis Zemdega and is dedicated to Agriculture Minister Arturs Alberings from the first period of Latvian independence.  The monument shows a young man with a grain basket.  The monument disappeared during the Soviet occupation, and a gypsum statue of a Pioneer was installed instead.  In 1977, children found some parts of the old sculpture buried in the ground, and 10 years later someone found the head of the monument.  After a restoration, the Sower sculpture is now in its historical location – in the Terneja Park alongside Rīgas Street.

The farm specializes on growing and reprocessing cranberries and blueberries. They offer tastings of the products and purchasing those in a small local shop, as well as a 2-hour-long excursion around the farm.
