The “Baldone Sauna for Friends” weekend house offers families, couples, good friends and small groups rooms for leisure amidst a mighty forest of beautiful fir and pine trees during the summer and the winter. Fans of sauna rituals can enjoy a sauna according to the Latvian style, with aromatic herbal teas, a salt or coffee scrub, and a bucket of cold water for contrast. Outside is a tub of hot water for leisure and conversations during which the tops of the pine trees, the moon and the stars can be watched. Guests have access to a large living room with a fireplace and a well-appointed kitchenette. There are four bedrooms – a yellow one with six single beds and a double bed, a lavatory and a shower; as well as violet, reddish and green rooms with double beds that share a lavatory and a shower. There is room for as many as 18 people in all. |

The house is on the banks of the Pilda River. It is a biological farm with fruits, berries, vegetables and honey prepared and served in honour of Lettigalian traditions. "Aizupmajas" offers a traditional Lettigalian black sauna with linden or oak branch switches and herbal teas. You can also take part in farm work or spend the night in the restored granary. Latvian cuisine: Cold soup, Lettigalian sauerkraut soup, crepes, oven-baked potatoes, sautéed pike, homemade steak haché, whipped rhubarb dessert, birch juice, herbal teas. The cafe- guest house Liepas is situated in Akniste. Guests are offered to try a tasty meal prepared from the owners’ and nearby farmsteads’ biologically grown vegetables, lamb and dairy products. The KUKŪZES weekend house is in the town of Sēbruciems in the Babīte Parish, which is a quiet territory near Rīga. We offer accommodations in two weekend huts in a forested area with a view of a nice pond. Both huts are equipped with everything that you will need to relax. The huts have room for two to four adults or for a family with kids. Each hut has a pull-down bed and a sofa bed. There are also cribs for babies. You’ll have access to utensils to cook food, various types of food, tea, coffee, an electric stove, a refrigerator, an electric ta kettle, a coffee machine for coffee lovers, and a grill outside the huts. We’ll supply you with towels, a hair-dryer and hygiene products. An Internet link and television are both available. Both huts have small furnished terraces with a view of the pond. During the warm season, there is a free swimming area which is particularly appropriate for families with small children. During cold weather, an additional offer involves a hot jacuzzi. |

By the beekeeping farm “Kalniņi” there is a Bee Hut – small wooden house in which you can feel the presence of bees. The hives with seven bee families are built-in the sides of the Bee Hut, but inside the building they are designed as beds or seats. When looking at the building from the outside you can see the bee runs and also bees themselves. In addition, “Kalniņi” also offer different types of bee products – honey, pollen bread, beautiful and aromatic wax candles. It is possible to taste beekeeping products and enjoy a cap of warm tea. Families with kids can participate in educational workshops, learn how to make wax candles and gain information about the daily life in the beekeeping farm. Since summer 2018 everyone can also visit the House of Crafts, where you can participate in different activities such as Encaustic painting (also known as hot wax painting), create wooden souvenirs with burnt folk signs as well as create wax candles etc. The House of Crafts offers different itineraries for grownups, kids, youngsters and newlyweds. There you can also purchase the offered products - various flower honey, pollen, pollen bread, propolis, cell honey and wax candles. |

The granary and cheese-making facility of the former Sieksāte (Berghof) Estate now house a museum (since 1985) which tracks the route of milk from the cow to the finished product.
