For the conservation of Sigulda walking stick production traditions
The walking stick of Sigulda is one of the oldest souvenirs of Latvia and the symbol of Sigulda tourism. The history of the walking stick dates back to the late 19th century, when the railway and activities of Duke Kropotkin in the improvement of the vicinity brought large numbers of visitors to the area. At Sigulda walking stick workshop, the stages of the becoming of a walking stick can be observed and the product itself can be bought.
