In Silkalni, visitors can get acquainted with a wide range of medicinal plants growing in meadows, fields and gardens, forests and bogs, yards and flower beds, as well as their use in maintaining health. During the excursions, the hostess introduces the secrets of medicinal plants, their cultivation, collection, drying and preparation of tea mixtures, syrups and extracts. Tourists can taste and buy herbal teas on the farm. Especially when applying, the owner shows and tells about the natural energies - veins and the power of stones.
The farm grows some 25 types of plants and prepares products from approximately 50 types of plants. Visitors will learn about the use of medicinal plants not just in teas, but also in oils, extracts, tinctures, syrups, etc. These can be used for everyday nutrition. Products can be tasted and bought, and you can help out with the farm’s operations. There is also livestock to view.
