Good to know: Check the ferry timetable in advance from Smiltyne to Klaipėda: www.keltas.lt. The New Ferry is used by vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians, while the Old Ferry is available only to pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternatives: You can walk to the pier (an additional 2 km out and back) from the Sea Museum (1.5 km from the Old Ferry).
