10:10 – 11:00 Board/audit report for 2018. LLTA “Lauku ceļotājs” board and audit elections.
11:00 – 12:00 Discussion on current events in rural tourism: Tourism Law, Competition Law, prospects for applying reduced VAT to the catering industry, insurance proposals, etc.

12:30-13:00 Using the digital environment in business development.
Ina Gudele - Head of the Latvian Internet Association. Latvian Internet and electronic commerce expert. Lecturer in digital marketing at RISEBA University of Applied Sciences. Working on her doctoral thesis on electronic commerce for small and medium-sized enterprises. Works as a business consultant in several European countries.

13:15 – 13:40 Developing and including rural tourism programs in tour operator programs , trends and demands of distant markets.
Antra Spinga is a rural tourism expert. In the rural tourism industry since 1993, specializing in creating marketing materials for local and foreign markets. Experience in creating the GO RURAL tourism product for foreign markets.

13:40 – 15:15 Practical and functional product and souvenir packaging and design , modern trends. Packaging classification, materials, shapes, types, labeling.
Mg.sc.soc. Iveta Krauja, Chairwoman of the Board of the Latvian Packaging Association. For 25 years, she has been involved in various packaging issues: managing product packaging projects, following the development and current events of packaging materials and systems. Please bring a sample of your product or souvenir for which you would like to receive a consultation.

15:30-17:00 Lunch, tour of the recreation complex “Turbas” accompanied by the host.
