VIRKAS MANOR

The largest hotel in Kuldiga, consisting of two buildings. In the manor house of Virka manor there are 17 design rooms renovated in 2017 - Boutique Hotel Virka manor. Design family room with a bathtub and 2 en suite facilities for 4 guests. Honeymoon room with a balcony and a very large bathroom. Two suites with bath. Thirteen design rooms with shower. Five economy class rooms. One quadruple room, three triple rooms, one double room. Comfort Hotel Kuldiga is located in another building. It is a new cyclist-friendly hotel with a lockable and heated bicycle garage. Eight standard double rooms, one family room for 4 guests and one single room. Well-equipped seminar / celebration hall for up to 35 people.

The Birini Castle

The Bīriņi estate complex and the park was built in the 18th-19th century. The castle itself was built in 1860, and exemplifies a successful mixture of styles - the architecture is dominated by the Neo-gothic and semicircle style, while the interior features Neo-renaissance. Today the castle is a prestigeous venue for banquets and seminars. Recreation and tourism centre “Ezernieki” is located 200 km from Riga, 30 km from Madona and 15 km from Lubāna town on the bank of Sala lake in Visagals. A great choice for calm recreation as well as for the corporative seminars banquets or games. A log-building house of three floors offers the large hall, open-fire hall, kitchen, great sauna with swimming-pool and nine comfy bedrooms with WC and shower.
